LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Angelina Jolie is reportedly delighted over Brad Pitt and George Clooney's most recent film 'Wolfs' being abruptly pulled from theaters and immediately sent to streaming.

According to sources, the 'Salt' actress is ecstatic about this move made by Apple TV+, especially since she is enjoying every moment of her booming career amid her ongoing contentious divorce drama with Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie 'never liked' Brad Pitt's friendship with George Clooney

An insider revealed to Life & Style that Angelina Jolie, 49, "hates Brad with a passion" and "never liked his friendship with George", per InTouch Weekly.

The source added, "She is much younger than both of these guys. To her, they’re over the hill and yesterday’s news, and she’s actively reminding people about that [off the record] as she makes her own triumphant press tour for 'Maria'."

An insider exclusively said of the awful 'Wolfs' situation: "George and Brad have egg on their face due to Apple’s decision to dramatically curtail Wolfs’ time in theaters."

"The 'Wolfs' pullback and shift to streaming has been a giant pie in the face for their teams at important companies like CAA and Brillstein Partners, too," the source added.

The insider continued, "Everybody is pretty mad about this and the bosses at Apple TV+ keep getting away with this kind of thing because they refuse to interact with the press at all."

"Sometimes, just because of how much money they have at their disposal, it’s almost like they aren’t accountable to anybody."

"This decision put George and Brad in a horrible position and Angelina couldn’t be happier this Oscar season, since she’s being fully backed by Apple’s streaming rival Netflix in her Best Actress campaign for her film 'Maria'," the source said.

The awful news came following the dismissal of a lawsuit accusing Jolie's estranged ex-husband of verbal and physical abuse as the actress has been concentrating on her career and spending time with her children.

A different source said, "She seems really relaxed and happy. It’s like she’s turned over a new leaf," per OK! Magazine.

Apple original film 'Wolfs' gets only one-week theatrical run

George Clooney and Brad Pitt's Apple original 'Wolfs' was supposed to be released widely, but it ended up having a short theatrical run and going to streaming instead.

Clooney and Pitt have rekindled their famous collaboration for the Apple original after 16 years. The pair portrays two skilled fixers who would rather operate alone but are forced to join hands after getting hired for the same position.

'Wolfs' was scheduled to be released widely, but Apple revealed in August that it would initially play in theaters for a week before becoming available on streaming services, per The Hollywood Reporter.

"We’re happy it’s getting released at all. Obviously we wish it was having a wider release and we’re trying to figure these things out as we go," Clooney stated.

He added, "This is a revolutionary time in our industry so it’s taken a moment to get through it, but we’ll get through it."

Although a wide theatrical release of 'Wolfs' had been planned on September 20, Apple chose to release it on Apple TV+ on September 27 and have it play in theaters for a week.
