Anne Hathaway hopes her children grow up like Tom Holland: 'He's like a dream son'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Anne Hathaway has praised her onscreen son, Tom Holland, as the pair appeared in an interview to promote their upcoming movie, 'The Odyssey.'

The actress even shared that she hopes all of her children grow up "as wonderful" as Holland.
Anne Hathaway responds to Matt Damon compliment
In Christopher Nolan's directorial, releasing on July 17, Hathaway will play Penelope, while the 30-year-old actor portrays her and Odysseus' only son, Telemachus.
During a recent eTalk interview, the host addressed the the 'Devil Wears Prada' star, saying, “She’s mother, and I want to talk about you bringing that mother energy in all its forms to this interpretation of Penelope and creating that yearning soulmate bond who says that you carried his performance.”
To which Hathaway, who is currently pregnant with her third child, replied, “No, he’s saying that being nice, that’s over generous,” before going on to talk about being a mother both on-screen and off-screen.

The 43-year-old is already a mother of two sons, whom she shares with her husband, Adam Shulman.
The Academy Award winner said, “Well first off I have to say as a mom in real life…I very much hope all of my children grow up to be as wonderful as my onscreen child. Tom is like a dream son and honestly is kind of the key to it.
“We have this amazing script, brilliant actors but like also I just really love Tom and I really love Matt and I love Chris,” Hathaway asserted.

The Primetime Emmy Award winner further explained that she “just feel even though this was a big epic movie, it’s really grounded in intimate appreciation of each other, respect for each other. I don’t think any of us wanted to let Chris down.”
“So, we all kind of harness our highest strength, highest passion, and we just tried to be an actor that was worthy of being in a Nolan movie,” Hathaway added.
This came as Holland said in an interview with BBC that playing Telemachus marks the start “of a new chapter of my life” and described the experience as “a real pinch-me moment.”
The 30-year-old star also stated in the interview that “the thing that I love the most is that it feels a little bit like the last chance for me to play a boy.”
