The special features the renowned artist, winner of both Grammy and Oscar awards, who graced the stage before a packed audience of 52,000 at Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium in September 2022.

According to Variety, Lady Gaga took the reins as producer, director, and creator of the film, with her longtime manager Bobby Campbell, Live Nation touring chief Arthur Fogel, and Interscope Records’ John Janick and Steve Berman serving as executive producers.

The release of Gaga's 2020 album 'Chromatica' was delayed by two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, affecting plans for its promotion, including the tour.
