Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez's divorce finalized without any hurdle

According to reports, the divorce proceedings went smoothly since Grande and her 28-year-old real estate broker ex-husband had signed a pre-nuptial agreement.

Moreover, as they didn't share any children and had no legal disputes, the divorce petition moved swiftly through the court system after the former couple finalized the terms of their settlement in October 2023.

The ‘Santa Tell Me’ singer reportedly has to pay Gomez $1,250,000, with no further alimony, half of the amount she receives from selling their Los Angeles residence, and $25,000 for his legal bill.

In her divorce petition, Grande stated "irreconcilable differences" as to why they split, and their date of separation was listed as February 20, 2023.

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez got married in 2021 in an intimate ceremony

Grande and Gomez got romantically involved in January 2020 before announcing their engagement in December of the same year.

At that time, an insider said, "They couldn't be happier, they're just so excited. This is a happy time for them, both sets of parents are thrilled," as per PEOPLE Magazine.

"Congrats to these two amazing souls. Ari we love you and could not be happier for you. Dalton, you are a lucky man," noted Grande's manager Scooter Braun after the duo got engaged.

Grande and Gomez tied the knot in May 2021, with her representative saying, "They got married. It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier," as per a report by PEOPLE Magazine.

A tipster shared, "Both Ari and Dalton love Montecito. They spend a lot of time there. It seems only natural that they would get married at Ari's beautiful and historic house."

"What you probably didn't know is that at the #MetGala a few years ago, Ariana and Vera had made a very important pact: On fashion’s biggest night, Vera promised that when the time came, she would create Ariana’s wedding day look…and the iconic designer delivered," added the post.
