The article allegedly highlighted that Grande has been facing criticism since the release of her song 'yes, and?' and her response to the mentioned backlash received after she started dating Slater.

As per Page Six, Grande urged fans to mind their own business in addressing the situation in the lyrics.

Page Six seemingly discussed social media users scrutinizing the lyrics of Grande's song and criticizing her, while also delving into Slater's ex-wife Jay, who shares a 17-month-old child with him.

According to Page Six, Slater filed for divorce from Jay in October 2023, the same month when Grande's divorce from her ex-husband, Dalton Gomez, was finalized. An insider mentioned by Page Six claimed that Jay was "completely blindsided" by Slater's relationship with Grande.
