LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ariana Grande is shutting down speculation that she’s leaving her pop roots behind.

Ariana Grande says singing is 'my lifeline’ as fans fear she's writing her musical epitaph

Responding to online chatter, Grande took to social media to address speculations about her career path.

“Very silly of you all to assume that just because i have my hands full with many things that i plan to abandon singing & music … !!!” she wrote in a post on Instagram.

“It is and has always been my lifeline. there will need to be room made for all of it. 🧚🏼‍♂️,” added Grande.

The pop icon noted that while her career might look different now, she’s still passionate about her music. “It may not look exactly like it did before but i much prefer how it looks in my head,” she said.

Ariana Grande says she's ‘finding a balance’ while ‘doing it my own way’

Despite her commitments to acting and business, Grande reassured fans that she’s making space for music in her future.

“I am having fun. i feel grateful and excited and inspired. :) finding a balance, between many projects and endeavors i love, and doing it my own way… so i’m working on a plan to sing for you all next year. even if it’s just for a little. i love you,” Grande wrote.

Grande most recently released her seventh album 'Eternal Sunshine', followed by the 'Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead' in March, which featured six new tracks.

She did not tour for the album but hinted that smaller performances may be in the works.

In a statement to Variety, a representative for Grande echoed her dedication to her music career. “Ariana’s plate is definitely full right now, but she’s genuinely enjoying this chapter,” the rep said.

“She’s loving the opportunity to dive deeper into acting, and she remains incredibly hands-on with her various businesses," added the rep.

They continued, "That said, Ariana has always been and continues to be a musician first. The goal is to find a rhythm where all of these creative outlets can coexist, and she’s very much in the process of building that balance out.”

Internet says ‘she’ll forever find ways to sing for ussss’ amid Ariana Grande’s update

Fans showed strong support online, responding to Grande’s heartfelt note with excitement and encouragement.

“She’ll forever find ways to sing for ussss,” one fan wrote on Instagram.

“It’s been wonderful to watch you evolve and grow! You deserve to be able to continue that evolution & journey into the next chapter of your inspiring career. We will be cheering you on in the process 🤗🤍,” shared another.
