LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Ariana Grande is all over the headlines for her hiatus and the public scrutiny surrounding her appearance. Now, the '7 Rings' singer is trending, not for any update on her hiatus announcement, but for her tattoo. 

Grande was recently spotted with a tattoo that looks similar to one her ex, Ricky Alvarez, has, but in English. The new ink has sparked plenty of speculation, especially amid recent rumors that Grande and her dancer-photographer ex may have rekindled their romance.

During her Eternal Sunshine Tour in London, the 'Positions' singer was seen wearing a black, off-shoulder outfit that flaunted her collarbone. Well, the audience couldn’t help but notice that she had gotten inked with an “I do love you” tattoo.

Now, the attention has shifted to her rumored love interest, Alvarez, and interestingly, he also has a similar tattoo on his chest. Although Alvarez’s tattoo is different from Grande’s, the meaning behind his tattoo is the same: “I do love you.”

The attention also brings back memories of Grande’s relationship with Alvarez and their split in 2016. She later name-dropped him in her 2018 song 'Thank u, next', with the lyrics, “Wrote some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh.”

Even though Grande has around 50 tattoos across her body, including her hands and fingers, her latest tattoo has grabbed attention amid the rumored romance. It seems that it’s not just her hiatus announcement that has grabbed attention; her love life is also under the microscope, with fans eager to dissect every detail.

Speaking about her current tattoos, Grande has an ode to 'Breakfast at Tiffany’s', another tattoo that matches with her 'Wicked' co-star Cynthia Erivo and reads “for God,” and another featuring the capital letter “E” for her character, Elphaba.

The pair dated from 2015 to 2016 and, without much explanation, eventually split. Now, nearly 10 years later, the former couple seems to be back in each other’s lives again. Earlier this week, the pair shared an image on Instagram in which they were seen wearing matching white tops, with Alvarez’s hand resting over Grande’s shoulder. 

Even though their faces weren’t visible in the picture, Grande tagged him in the post. Interestingly, he reshared the same image. Among the snaps Grande shared was a piece of paper displaying the same words as her new tattoo, adding more fuel to reconciliation rumors.
