Armie Hammer claims to have carved ‘A’ on ex Paige Lorenze’s body and describes it as ‘more like scrape’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Armie Hammer has confirmed that he carved the letter ‘A’ on ex Paige Lorenze, which supports some of her previous accusations. However, the actor denied branding her as she had claimed.
The embattled actor describes it as more of a “scrape” or “tattoo,” insisting that it was consensual.
Hammer, 37, recently appeared for an interview with Piers Morgan on Thursday, July 18, where he addressed the cannibalism accusations brought against him by his several ex-girlfriends.
Armie Hammer says the carving on Paige Lorenze was ‘more like a scrape’
While Armie Hammer was facing controversies over cannibalism accusations in 2021, Paige Lorenze came forward with her disturbing allegations against the Golden Globe nominee.
She accused him of “marking and branding” her during their “traumatic” four-month relationship in 2020, per Daily Mail.
However, in his interview with Morgan, Hammer dismissed the branding allegation, stating, “I wouldn’t call it branding, no.”
The father-of-two explained, “There was a scenario that we talked about beforehand, that we had discussed where, you know, I would basically take a little, tiny point and just kind of trace the letter 'A' — just like the tip of a small knife.”
“I mean, there wasn't even blood in the situation. It was more like a scrape… It's along the lines of couples getting their own initials tattooed on each other,” continued Hammer.
As Morgan noted marking someone with a knife is “a bit different to a tattoo,” Hammer reassured, “[It's] less permanent. I guarantee it was such a small thing.”
Morgan then confessed to his guest that he was quite “shocked” by the whole situation.
“Yes, I think to some it probably sounds really strange,” stated Hammer, while also noting, “To some, it probably sounds like a very romantic gesture.”
Nevertheless, he admitted that he had nothing to “gain” from “having a sexual experience that my partner didn’t appreciate or enjoy.”
“That was also a huge sense of validation for me, making this person that I'm with feel good, making this person that I'm with, I don't know if I can say this, climax,” said Hammer.
He continued, “Like, these were things that made me feel good and made me feel powerful, which I desperately needed because I didn't know how to give them to myself.”
In 2021, Lorenze described her relationship with Hammer as “like a real-life 50 Shades of Grey, but without the love.”
She also accused him of being a narcissistic individual with a penchant for sexual deviance and BDSM.
In addition to Lorenze, Hammer’s other ex, Effie Angelova, accused him of rape and abuse in February 2021, which contributed to his downfall. Several other women also accused him of abuse and of harboring cannibalism fantasies.
Through his attorney, Hammer has maintained his innocence, asserting that all of his sexual encounters were “completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory.”
Armie Hammer said he is grateful for the cannibalism accusation
In an appearance on the 'Painful Lessons' podcast, Armie Hammer revealed that he is now thankful for the shocking cannibalism accusations.
“Whatever it was that people said, whatever it was that happened, I'm now at a place in my life where I'm grateful for every single bit of it,” said Hammer.
“I'm actually now at a place where I'm really grateful for it because where I was in my life before all of that stuff happened to me I didn't feel good I never felt satisfied I never had enough I never was in a place where I was happy with myself where I had self-esteem,” continued the fallen star.
The ‘Call Me By Your Name’ star said, “I never knew how to give myself love. I never knew how to give myself self-validation but I had this job where I was able to get it from so many people that I never had to learn how to give it to myself.”
He also addressed the accusation of cannibalism, he said, “People called me a cannibal. Like I ate people! What???? You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to eat people!” [sic]
He recalled his downfall, saying, “It was an ego death, a career death. A neutron bomb went off in my life. It killed off [everything].”
In July 2020, he separated from his spouse Elizabeth Chambers, with whom he shares two children.
He shared, “There were a lot of times when I thought I can't take this anymore. I was getting hate…so it just went right in…”
“I was standing at the shore and I swam out really far and just laying there..a half-assed suicide attempt…But I thought I couldn't do that to my kids,” said Hammer.
