WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump and awkward moments go hand in hand, but this latest tidbit might just take the cake (or the soccer ball in this case).

Coleen Rooney, wife of English soccer legend Wayne Rooney, spilled some tea on an awkward encounter with the president-elect's youngest son, Barron Trump, on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here'.

Back in 2018, Coleen and Wayne packed their bags and moved to Washington, DC, for the latter's stint with DC United. While they were there, the couple got a rare invite to the White House Christmas festivities.

Donald Trump's eyebrow-raising comment to son Barron Trump

Coleen Rooney recalled the fateful visit, where she and Wayne Rooney had a chance to meet the then-president. "We were invited to the White House for Christmas and we went in to meet Donald Trump," she said.

At first, everything seemed normal—standard holiday greetings, small talk, you know the drill. Then the president turned to his son, Barron, and dropped this gem: "See? Told ya, all the soccer players get the good-looking girls."

Coleen later shared the moment with her mother, who reportedly called Trump a "dirty bastard" for the comment. Sure, it might’ve been meant as a compliment to Coleen’s looks, but coming from the president in front of a 12-year-old Barron doesn't exactly exude presidential behavior.

Trump may not be the biggest fan of football—well, the American kind at least. But soccer seems to get a pass, at least when it comes to Barron.

Coleen mentioned that Trump had high hopes for Wayne to give Barron a few soccer lessons. Imagine the soccer equivalent of Michael Jordan coaching your child—yeah, Wayne’s that big a deal. But it doesn’t sound like Wayne took Trump up on the offer.

Speaking of Barron, his height (6'7"!) has sparked plenty of speculation about his potential as a basketball player, but Trump seems more focused on soccer.

In a photo, Coleen shared from that day, she and Wayne posed in front of the White House Christmas tree alongside Melania Trump. It’s unclear if Melania heard her husband’s comment to Barron, but one can imagine the side-eye if she did.

Barron Trump has a life of luxury fit for royalty

Barron Trump may stay mostly out of the spotlight, but what little we know about his life screams luxury.

Born in 2006, Barron spent his early years living in a jaw-dropping penthouse in Trump Tower, complete with gold walls and ceilings that look straight out of a royal palace. Oh, and did we mention he had an entire floor to himself?

Yep, little Barron’s penthouse paradise included his own nursery, living room, kitchen, and quarters for Melania and a team of nannies, per People. Talk about a "good baby," as Melania put it—Barron was apparently super calm and not much of a crier. Guess that’s easy when your crib has better digs than most five-star hotels.

But Barron’s gilded childhood was just the start. When the Trumps moved to the White House, he became the first boy to live there since JFK Jr in 1963. Imagine going from a golden penthouse to the most famous house in America—talk about an upgrade in prestige.
