‘Beefing over a woman’: Internet in splits after Quavo hits back at Chris Brown's diss track within 24 hours with 'Tender'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: You may call it a rap battle at its peak! Just a day after Chris Brown slighted Quavo for dating his ex Karrueche Tran on his new track ‘Freak’, the former Migos frontman has come up with his track ‘Tender’ to respond to the diss.

Brown, 34, released his ‘Freak’ as a part of the deluxe edition of his 2023 album ‘11:11’ where he came at the 33-year-old Quavo for his alleged romantic involvement with Tran.

Now Quavo is hitting back by releasing ‘Tender’, per TMZ.

Quavo releases his response to Chris Brown’s diss

In the latest track, Quavo seemingly addresses Brown twice - one in the verses and the other in a chorus.

He can be heard rapping, "You did the b***h wrong and now the b***h gone, she posted with a thug.” 

He adds while making a vague reference to Brown’s history of domestic violence, "Call the b***h phone, she won't come home, don't beat her up / It must be the drugs, need to cross out your plug."

In the second instance, the 'Quavo Huncho’ rapper asks the King of R&B why he felt the need to reinstate the beef.

He sang, "Tell me, 'lil bro, what's your issue? It's over a thot / You said it's bigger than that, but no, it is not / It's cause I be diggin' in that, it got 'em hot.”

He continued, "I'm givin' respect, but I know you not / Your b***h on my neck, your b***h at the spot."

Brown and Tran dated on and off for several years between 2010 to 2015. They separated briefly when Brown announced that he was reconciling with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna - with whom he had a history of domestic violence case in 2009.

However, after his reconciliation with the Fenty Beauty founder did not work out, Brown and Tran got back together.

After news broke that Brown was expecting a child with another woman - Nia Guzman - Tran announced that she was permanently breaking up with Brown, per The US Sun. She even obtained a five-year restraining order against Brown in 2017 after he allegedly threatened her. 

Though Quavo and Tran did not confirm being in a relationship, rumors broke in 2017 that the duo were dating. They were even seen vacationing together at the beginning of 2022, however, the reality of their relationship is not known. 

Just a day before, Brown seemingly attacked Quavo in his diss track ‘Freak’, where he rapped, "F**king my old b***hes ain't gone make us equal.”

Not being subtle at all, he adds, "Sipping that 1942 'cause I don't do no Quavo / Freak b***h she like Casamigos not the Migos."

While the two rappers never appeared as best friends, the sudden beef took many fans by surprise as they were seen sitting adjacent to each other at a Paris Fashion Week event earlier this year. 

However, the recent development proves the opposite.

The Internet was left in splits after Quavo responded to Chris Brown's diss track in less than a day's time.

One of the fans said under Quavo's video, "Quavo wasted no time responding back to Breezy."

Someone else said, "Nah beefing over a woman that broke up with you almost a decade ago is doodoo. CB didn't deserve anything more than this."

Another social media user added, "Quavo say it not big than that and Chris Brown out here beef over a girl and it happened 2017 why Chris Brown now diss him and it be 6years ago."

"Breezy made Quavo go back to 2016 with this one," commented a fan.

Another user quipped, "Bro responded to Chris brown in less than 24 hours."

"Oh s**t never thought I’d get a Breezy Quavo battle in 2024," exclaimed another fan of rap music. 

Someone else chimed in, "2017 Quavo is back. One of the best artists in the world of music."
