LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner gave fans yet another glimpse of their remarkably united post-divorce relationship as they celebrated Thanksgiving together with their children and Affleck’s mother, during a cozy family gathering at Garner’s Los Angeles home on Thursday, November 28.

A source close to the actress told People the holiday looked much like last year’s Thanksgiving, reinforcing how far the pair have come since finalizing their divorce in 2018.

Affleck arrived with his youngest son, 13-year-old Samuel Affleck, along with his mother, Chris Boldt, for the intimate holiday meal prepared by Garner, who is known for making the gathering “very special.”

“Ben and his mom joined,” the insider shared. “Jen makes it very special. She’s such a great chef.”

The source emphasized that Garner “loves having her whole family together too,” adding that “Ben’s always welcome at her house.”

A family rebuilt through patience, co-parenting and mutual respect

Affleck and Garner married in 2005, separated in 2015 and finalized their divorce in 2018. They share three children, Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13 and have spent years rebuilding a supportive co-parenting partnership grounded entirely in their shared dedication to raising their kids.

“Jen’s his biggest cheerleader,” the source revealed. “It took them years to get to this point, but Jen never gave up on him. And it’s all friendly and centered around the kids now.”

Friends close to the former couple say their progress has been slow but steady, built on countless small decisions to prioritize peace over conflict.

The duo’s evolved dynamic has earned widespread praise for its maturity and stability, especially as both have navigated new relationships and public scrutiny.

Jennifer Garner continues thriving in her relationship with John Miller

Despite her ongoing commitment to her family, Garner’s relationship with businessman John Miller, the CEO of CaliBurger, is thriving. The insider explained that Miller is “incredibly patient and understanding of her family focus,” noting that he and Garner are “very happy” together.
