DUBLIN, IRELAND: Eva Green, best known for her role as a “Bond girl,” was reportedly rushed to a Dublin hospital after suffering a leg injury while filming Netflix’s 'Wednesday 3'.

The 45-year-old French actor was allegedly injured during production of the Jenna Ortega-led series. Details surrounding the incident remain limited, with no official confirmation yet from Green or the production team.

However, it remains unclear what exactly caused the injury or whether it occurred during a stunt, scripted scene, or technical mishap. Production insiders have not confirmed further details, and the severity of the injury has not been officially disclosed.

Filming was reportedly paused as Green received treatment, with production schedules later adjusted in response to the incident.

Green had previously expressed enthusiasm about joining the series, saying, “I can’t wait to bring my own touch of cuckoo-ness to the Addams Family. This show is such a deliciously dark and witty world.” She plays Aunt Ophelia, the mysterious sister of Morticia Addams.

Ophelia was teased in the previous season’s finale, where she was seen writing “Wednesday must die” on a wall. The storyline also followed Wednesday Addams receiving Ophelia’s journal, triggering unsettling psychic visions.

Green’s casting continues her long-running collaboration with director Tim Burton, having previously worked on ‘Dark Shadows’, ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’, and ‘Dumbo’.

They join returning stars Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Emma Myers, and Joanna Lumley, making ‘Wednesday 3’ one of the most high-profile installments in the franchise.
