Ben Affleck calls Jennifer Lopez 'spectacular' as he attends 'The Accountant 2' premiere with children

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Affleck made it clear that there’s no tension between him and his former partner Jennifer Lopez.

The actor spoke warmly about Lopez while attending the premiere of 'The Accountant 2'.

Ben Affleck addressed recent rumors, telling Entertainment Tonight that Jennifer Lopez has a strong bond with his family.

“For the record, Jennifer Lopez is spectacular, great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them,” he said.

He went on to speak about Lopez’s children and their bond.

“I love her kids. They’re wonderful. She’s [an] enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to,” the 'Deep Water' actor gushed.

Ben Affleck shared that both Jennifer Lopez’s and his children, 17-year-old twins Max and Emme, joined him for the film's big night. 

“It’s a great night. The kids are here, Jen’s kids are here. I’m very, very excited,” Affleck said.

“I’m proud of the movie, I love the movie and I love when all the kids come out. It’s really fun, it’s exciting," he continued.

He also noted that he doesn't listen to the online chatter and that he perpetuates the idea that people want to "find something" about him and Lopez, specifically, "negative."

He also spoke about how much it meant to share the moment with their blended families.

“I’m thrilled that the kids are here with me. The relationships that you can have with children like that, it’s the joy of my life. And those kids are amazing, and I’m glad that this is a movie they want to come to,” Affleck added.

Jennifer Lopez has been busy with her projects, including filming 'Office Romance' in Brooklyn. She is set to perform at a Pride concert in June and will be on tour this summer.

The Bronx native finalized her divorce from Affleck four months ago and is currently not in a relationship.

According to a Daily Mail source, “They are both sad that the marriage did not work out.”

“Instead of crying over it, however, they are working their hearts out. They love being busy with solid projects,” the source shared.

The motivation for both of them is clear: “They want more successes, more hit films, more awards.”
