Ben Affleck feels 'blessed' to celebrate Thanksgiving with ex Jennifer Garner after Jennifer Lopez split
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Affleck, 52, cherishes the strong bond he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52, especially during challenging times.
This Thanksgiving, the former couple reunited with their three children, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12—for a day of gratitude and giving back, as reported by OK! Magazine.

The pair, who divorced in 2015 after a decade of marriage, were spotted at the Midnight Mission in downtown Los Angeles, handing out meals to those in need.
Ben Affleck expressed feeling "blessed" to celebrate Thanksgiving alongside his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
"He can just be himself," shared an insider. "Even though Ben and Jen have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her. Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she’s the mother of his kids."
Affleck’s recent divorce from Jennifer Lopez, 55, in August, has been a challenging chapter, but Garner has been a constant source of support.
"She’s a stabilizing influence, and she’s been a huge support throughout his split," shared a source. "They’re the best of friends, and there’s no awkwardness between them."
The insider added, "They'll always be close because they share children together and maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship."
The pair's co-parenting arrangement remains strong, with Affleck spending increasing time at Garner’s home. “(Affleck) got a key to come and go as he pleases, and he’s been spending a ton of time at (Garner’s) place, coming over for dinners and hanging with the kids,” the insider said. “It’s great for his state of mind, and the kids love having him around.”
While Garner has supported Affleck, her involvement with Lopez is reportedly over.
“Jen no longer wishes to have communication with JLo unless it has to do with the kids,” an insider shared. "Her friends feel she shouldn’t have allowed herself to get so involved in helping JLo fix her marriage to Ben. Especially considering Jen felt pitted against JLo at times during their own marriage. Jen is too nice and truly wanted to help, so she tried."

Photographed in aprons bearing the phrase “I love the Midnight Mission”, Affleck and Garner worked side-by-side, serving meals and sharing smiles. One candid moment showed Affleck whispering something to Garner, both visibly happy to be collaborating for the cause.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner today. They were amazing. Jennifer Garner might be the nicest celeb I've ever met.

Dressed casually for the occasion, Affleck paired a dark button-up shirt with his apron, while Garner sported a cozy blue sweater, jeans, and a simple updo. The couple's children joined them in giving back.
This public reunion comes amid Affleck’s ongoing divorce from Jennifer Lopez, with the couple marking April 26, 2024, as their official separation date. Lopez was seen dining with friends in Los Angeles the day before Thanksgiving, as reported by Page Six.
