Ben Affleck 'has a crush' on Brad Pitt's ex Angelina Jolie years after both actors dated Gwyneth Paltrow
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Affleck is apparently interested in dating fellow Hollywood star Angelina Jolie, the Daily Mail cited an insider source claiming in a report published on Wednesday, April 9.
Both Affleck and Jolie are currently single, with him divorcing Jennifer Lopez in 2024 and Jolie divorcing Brad Pitt in 2016 and staying by herself since.
However, Jolie is not the only actress in whom both Affleck and Pitt, who are known to be close friends, have expressed their interest. Gwyneth Paltrow was engaged to Pitt between 1994 and 1997, following which she and Affleck dated from 1997 until 2000.

While Jolie is reportedly not interested in getting back into the dating pool at the moment, a source reportedly told the Daily Mail that it has not stopped Affleck.
"Ben said that he always thought that she was very hot and has admired how she has navigated her career; he has called her smart," said the source. "He also thinks it's pretty cool that she has directed films too, something he has done many times with The Town and Argo. They would certainly have a lot to talk about over dinner."
The Batman actor also reportedly noted that he and Jolie are of a similar age, him 52, and her, 49. Both of them are also interested in raising a family. Affleck has three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Jolie shares six kids with Pitt.

Affleck finalized his divorce from his ex-wife Lopez earlier this year and recently insisted that there was no "major fracture" behind their break-up.
In an interview for the April issue of GQ magazine, Affleck stated, "There's a tendency to look at break-ups and want to identify root causes or something. But honestly … the truth is much more quotidian than probably people would believe or would be interesting."
"There's no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue (about our divorce). The truth is, when you talk to somebody, 'Hey, what happened?' Well, there is no, 'This is what happened,'" he added.
