Ben Affleck kept Jennifer Lopez's love letters while married to Jennifer Garner, documentary reveals
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez revealed in her new documentary 'The Greatest Love Story Never Told' that her husband, Ben Affleck, had saved their written communications from the time they dated in the early 2000s.
The 'Maid in Manhattan' star and Affleck even got engaged in 2002. However, they soon postponed their 2003 wedding before calling it off altogether.
After breaking up, Lopez went ahead to marry musician Marc Anthony, while Affleck tied the knot with Jennifer Garner in 2005, and they welcomed three children - Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 11.
Affleck and Garner separated in 2018 after 13 years of marriage.
In the new documentary, Lopez shared that after reconnecting their romance in 2021, Affleck gave him a book containing all the letters and emails they had exchanged during their initial courting period.
This means the actors had the communications stacked somewhere while he was married to Garner.
