Ben Affleck's daughter Violet will continue speaking with Jennifer Lopez even if they divorce: Report

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Though the marriage of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez seems to be in shambles, the actor's daughter, Violet, reportedly won’t leave her stepmom behind even if there's a divorce. 

The 18-year-old has formed an unbreakable bond with the 'On the Floor' hitmaker since the couple got hitched in 2022.

The 'Gone Girl' actor and his former wife, Jennifer Garner, share three children, Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12. On the other hand, Jennifer Lopez shares 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme Muniz, with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.

After getting married, the couple grew close to each other’s children.

In 2023, JLo shared on 'Today', "Well, he's a wonderful, wonderful father. And a father figure to [Max and Emme] as well, because he has his own three beautiful children, and then there's us," as per People. 

"He's fantastic. He really steps up to the challenge of what that is and what that means. And they love him. They love him. And they appreciate him, and so do I," added 'The Mother' actress, gushing over the bond her husband shares with her children.

But as per recent reports, there's trouble in paradise and a divorce might be imminent. 

However, Ben's daughter, Violet, will continue speaking with her stepmother even if the unthinkable happens, as reported by Marca.

A source shared, "She got extremely close to JLo over the past couple of years, and it broke her heart when they split," before adding, "Violet is an adult and can have relationships with anyone she chooses." 

The two have been spotted spending time together several times in recent months. Moreover, Violet was seen wearing a pink-and-white chiffon Dolce & Gabbana dress, which JLo wore on a Valentine's Day date with Ben in 2023.

Meanwhile, a source shared with Entertainment Tonight that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez "are trying to make this transition as easy as possible and be gentle on their children. They don't want to make things more upsetting than they already have been."

They mentioned, "Ben certainly doesn't want to cause any strain between Jen and Violet, and he is in support of them spending time together. It's a little tricky for him, but both Jen and Ben want all their kids to be happy, regardless of the issues they are facing in their marriage."

"They are hoping to have clear, new, and healthy directions for themselves and for their families. They are trying to be strong, but it is a sad time for everyone, and it is difficult to have to deal with everything playing out publicly," further noted the tipster. 

Another insider asserted that Ben and JLo are "trying to be as amicable as possible. They still want the best for everyone involved. including their kids, the rest of their families, and shared friends."
