And then [Jen] was like, 'I love this story of these two.'"

The actor added that he was surprised by her fondness for the series, particularly for Hauser’s character, Rip, asking, "I was like, 'Wait a minute — with Cole Hauser? What do you love about it?'"

Affleck jokingly expressed his discomfort, saying, "I'm kind of disturbed by the fact that my wife really likes Yellowstone." His comments come at a time when Lopez’s reported relationship with 'Yellowstone' star Kevin Costner has sparked intense media speculation, reports Marca.

Affleck was speaking alongside his longtime friend Matt Damon, who also praised Hauser’s acting talent, recalling their experiences working with him in 'School Ties' (1992) and 'Good Will Hunting' (1997).

Damon reminisced about their early admiration for Hauser’s acting skills, "We were driving back into Boston ... leaving set for the first week, driving into Cambridge, and we're like ... 'Leaving me and you out, who's the f**kin' best actor here?' And both of us, at the same time, were like, 'Hauser.' "

The actor added, "He was raw talent; just astonishing ... and just the sweetest soul."

Affleck agreed, saying, "He is very convincing as that guy," referencing Hauser’s portrayal of Rip Wheeler, a character central to the 'Yellowstone' universe.
