Agency thanks Jennifer Lopez for her 'generous donation' to LA wildfire relief efforts
The A List has been collecting essentials and clothing to support those impacted by the fires, and Jennifer Lopez’s generous contribution has provided a significant boost to their efforts.
Sharing their gratitude on Instagram Stories on Wednesday, January 15, the agency wrote, "We got the most incredible, generous, beautiful note from Jennifer Lopez. We got the most incredible amount of stuff, the hugest amount of donations. So A) Oh my god, Jennifer Lopez, you’re amazing. B) People are asking how we’re doing. This is all incredibly grassroots."
The posts, which tagged the Unstoppable star, continued with the caption, "Beyond grateful for your generous donation."
The A List shared details of their ongoing efforts to assist those affected by the wildfires, highlighting their focus on helping the Pasadena and Altadena communities.
The organization announced: "This week, we’re working with our dear friends who have lost everything in our immediate community. I want to let you guys know, next we’re working… with the LAUSD Education Foundation, which will connect with impacted district employees and families through Pasadena, Altadena."
"The foundation will also collaborate with its neighboring districts to ensure more families can access this resource," it added.
A source close to Lopez told Page Six that she has "donated countless items from her own closet" and that she "is doing anything she can think of to help those in need replace some of the items they lost in the fires."
The tipster confirmed that the 'Unstoppable' actress "donated items to The A List LA Fire Relief campaign and this is just one of many things she is doing to help her community."

Lopez had been slated to appear on several major shows in New York City, including 'Today', 'The View', 'Live with Kelly and Mark', and 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'.
Instead, she has prioritized helping her community, joining other celebrities who are stepping up to offer aid during this time of need.
The wildfires, which began on January 7 in the Pacific Palisades, have claimed 25 lives, destroyed thousands of structures, and devastated countless families.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fires, which have left a trail of destruction across Los Angeles.
Jennifer Lopez faces flak for donating worn items
While The A List appreciated Jennifer Lopez’s generous donation, intended to help those in need, many questioned the practicality of her contributions.
One netizen mocked, "There will be lots of women walking around in wedding dresses for no reason," while another said, "Seriously? Guess this is for the upper class of people who lost everything and need heels and gowns that bad?"
Moreover, a viewer highlighted, "Hope she included some disinfectant spray with those street clothes."
"Why is she donating from her closet that she’s worn. Second hand clothes. Why not buy new clothes to donate. This person just doesn’t think," read another comment.
Echoing this sentiment, one more wrote, "Oh nice, size 0-2 outfits and stilettos will be really helpful. How about some money Jlo?"
Another person bluntly wrote, "Why doesn’t she donate $$$."
