Ben Affleck's rep responds to Kick Kennedy dating rumors amid Jennifer Lopez divorce
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The divorce of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez has entangled Robert F Kennedy Jr's daughter, Kathleen "Kick" Kennedy, in an unwanted controversy.
The 'Gone Girl' actor is believed to be dating Kick, since the two were recently spotted together at various popular venues in Los Angeles including on a date at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills.
However, a representative for the 'Air' actor has refuted any claims that the actor and the daughter of Robert F Kennedy Jr are more than just friends.

According to multiple sources, Affleck, 52, and Kick, 36, have reportedly been "spending time together," with one source claiming that the two had been connected since late spring.
Moreover, the pair reportedly hooked up before Affleck and Lopez's 2022 wedding, per The US Sun.
Attorney Andrew Zashin believed Affleck's alleged connection with Kick could complicate his already difficult divorce, even if it's unclear at this point whether he cheated on Lopez.
However, a representative for the newly single Affleck is putting an end to rumors that he was spotted with possible new flame which surfaced days after Lopez filed for divorce.
"There is no truth to any of it. I don't know if they even know each other," Affleck's spokesperson Jen Allen spilled in a statement obtained by People on Tuesday, August 27.
Affleck and Kick have been in the news since Lopez filed for divorce from the 'Goodwill Hunting' star on August 20, two years after Affleck and she were married again in the summer of 2022 in Georgia.
However, a spokesperson for Affleck told Newsweek in a statement that "these reports are not true," adding that the two were "not spending time together. Not more than friends."
Lopez, 55, "didn't want a divorce," but now that she's taken the step to file, a source revealed to People, she "seems relieved."
The source added, "It's been incredibly difficult for her that Ben chose to pull away from their marriage and move on with his life, leaving her behind."
"She wanted to figure things out. They love each other. Jennifer is not the type to just give up. It's been almost torture for her to wait around."
Meanwhile, a different source claimed that Affleck is "doing well and is very focused" following Lopez's divorce filing, adding that "he's doing exactly what he wants. He seems very happy."

The rumors that Affleck and Kick not only know one other but have known each other for years, continue to swirl despite this denial.
According to an anonymous source, Affleck and Kick were friends before he started dating actress Ana de Armas in 2020. De Armas and Affleck called it quits in 2021.
Affleck fell in love with the 36-year-old De Armas while filming their film 'Deep Water' in New Orleans. She moved in with him during the pandemic lockdown, but by January 2021, they called it quits.
"Their friendship has been going on for a while, even before Ana. When Ben started seeing Ana in 2020 and chose to quarantine with her during Covid, Kick was less than thrilled," an insider spilled to Page Six.
Kick and Affleck reportedly rekindled their connection when Affleck's relationship with his wife Lopez deteriorated earlier this year.
According to a source, Affleck has been Kick's longtime "celeb crush." Another source revealed Affleck's intentions for wanting to court a Kennedy family member.
"Affleck would love nothing more than to be part of the Kennedy clan. It’s a dream for any Boston guy. I think he would rather have that than a billion-dollar, red-carpet glam life with JLo," the Hollywood insider revealed.
However, Affleck's spokesperson stated, "This is not true. They are not hanging out."
Following Lopez's request to dissolve their two-year marriage last week, much speculation about a romantic connection between Affleck and Kick has occurred.
