LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Benny Blanco has left his billionaire fiancee Selena Gomez stunned as he described his cathartic bathing habit, including having “death realizations” in the shower.

The 36-year-old music producer and 32-year-old Rare Beauty founder recently appeared in a conversational clip for Interview Magazine. In the video, Blanco (born Benjamin Levin) opened up about his bizarre rituals, confessing that he takes longer showers than his fiancee.

Admitting that he only takes showers whenever he feels he “deserves it,” Benny Blanco confessed to Interview Magazine’s Instagram video on Sunday, February 16, “Okay, I might not get to shower every day," per Daily Mail.

He continued, “But when I do, when I feel like I deserve it, I'm in there for so long contemplating life. I sit down in every shower I go into.”

Already in a contemplative mood, Blanco then turned toward his Disney alum fiancee, asking her whether she ever cries in the shower. The impromptu question made the ‘Calm Down’ singer flabbergasted, as she broke out into laughter.

However, Blanco stood his ground, as he elaborated, “It's incredible. Sometimes you just have to have a good cry.”

He further added that the shower is the place that makes him contemplate his life and death, noting, “I always get death realizations when I'm in the shower.”

Stunned, the ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star responded with, “Whoa.”

Taking the cue, Blanco explained, “No, like, I realize I'm gonna die, but it's in the shower,” as Gomez hid her face beneath a Q&A card.

Nevertheless, the ‘Lonely’ hitmaker admitted that though he often gets morbid thoughts, they go away with the warm water of his shower.

“And then I cry about it a little bit, and then it goes away,” noted Blanco, before adding, "and then I feel great because of the warm water."

The ‘Roses’ creator got down on the knee and proposed to Gomez on December 10, with an 8-carat marquise diamond engagement ring after dating for about 18 months.

Benny Blanco says key to successful relationship is to ‘listen to your partner’

In their interview, Benny Blanco further joked that the key to a successful relationship is to listen to your partner.

When the interviewer asked him to impart advice for a successful relationship, Blanco joked, “Happy wife, happy life. Shut the f**k up and listen to your partner.” He continued, “I don’t think people listen to their partner enough.”

When the interviewer, Mel Ottenberg, said, “But everyone’s different,” Blanco responded, “I think in general, men are not listening to their partner enough. And treat people the way you want to be treated. Find your best friend and don’t settle. That’s my best friend right there.”

Gomez, too, shared her stance on the matter, as she said, “My perspective on it, in a simplistic way, is that I actually feel valued. I feel seen. I feel respected.”

“And I think that’s all I’ve ever really wanted. I’ve kind of been alone in the world,” continued the ‘Emilia Perez’ star, before adding, “I was alone for five years before we got together, and I think that really helped me appreciate someone like Ben.”

Gushing about her husband-to-be, she added, “He gets so weirded out by me saying this, but genuinely, 10 years ago, I wasn’t in a space in my life where I could have accepted the kind of patience, the kind of unconditional love that he gives me.”
