Beyonce fans over the moon as Christmas Day halftime show extended by NFL, sources confirm

HOUSTON, TEXAS: Beyonce fans are in for a treat this Christmas, as the NFL has announced an extended halftime show for the superstar singer during the Houston Texans vs Baltimore Ravens game on December 25.

Typically, NFL halftime shows last around 12 to 15 minutes, but sources close to the league have revealed that Beyonce will have about 20 minutes to perform, as per TMZ.

NFL to extend halftime for Beyonce's Christmas Day performance

Beyonce is poised to dominate the spotlight for the majority of the performance, solidifying her status as one of the most celebrated artists in NFL halftime history.

Although it’s not quite the 25-minute break seen during the Super Bowl, it’s still a significant extension for the 'Texas Hold Em' artist. This gives her ample time to deliver a show-stopping performance.

Beyonce had previously performed at Super Bowl halftime shows in 2013 and 2016. 

Netflix, which will be streaming NFL Christmas Gameday for the first time this year, recently teased the performance with a sneak peek of Beyonce in a stylish outfit, lighting a cactus Christmas tree with a finger gun.

The streaming giant is hoping to avoid any technical issues this time, after facing buffering problems during the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight last month. Fans can expect a holiday-themed spectacle to add to the excitement of Christmas Day football.

Beyonce's fans couldn't contain their excitement as the news of Beyonce's extended Christmas Day NFL halftime show made it to social media platforms. 

One exclaimed, "Yesssss omg I am not ready," and another wrote, "Longer show!!!! This is big."

Many are eagerly anticipating what Queen Bey has in store, with one commenting, "Queen Bey + NFL = Best Christmas gift ever! Can’t wait!"

"Well, when you've booked the Greatest Pop Star of the 21st Century & greatest living entertainer, it would be silly not to," gushed one more. 

"SHOW OF THE CENTURY," declared one, while another fan expressed, "At least I will have some good company at Christmas night!"
