LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Beyonce might be one of the most popular musical artists of the era, but she doesn't shy away from paying tribute to her seniors. 

Recently, Beyonce pleased her entire fandom after she posted a lengthy tribute to the 91-year-old outlaw country genre singer Willie Nelson.

Taking to her Instagram, the ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ singer penned an emotional message to the ‘On The Road Again’ singer and thanked him for his warm reception to her when she met him as a Destiny’s Child singer.

Beyonce pens sweet tribute to Willie Nelson

Taking to her Instagram on Monday night, Beyonce wrote, “The Great Willie! You are the coolest!”

She continued to show her admiration, writing, “I admire you, and I sincerely thank you for being the pioneer you are. Thanks for your impactful music, your advocacy, and the gracious way you appreciate and celebrate other artists! You are 1 of 1.”

She continued to reminisce about the time, possibly two decades ago, when she fangirled over him.

“You were so kind to me and the girls of Destiny’s Child when we fanned out meeting you years ago,” wrote Beyonce before adding, “And you greeted me with the same kindness 20 years later!”

“You are one of our national treasures,” wrote the ‘Cuff It’ songstress before concluding, “Sending my love to you ❤️🐝🇨🇱🤠.”

Accompanying her post was a carousel of pictures, where the songstress posed adorably with a bandana of Nelson. In some of the pictures, even her mother Tina Knowles posed alongside Nelson. 

The pictures were taken during the Democratic presidential hopeful Kamala Harris' rally in Texas where both Beyonce and Nelson were present to support the current Vice President.

Internet hails Beyonce's kind words for Willie Nelson

Beyonce's fans ruptured in happiness as Queen Bey posted a long tribute to the musical maestro. Some even pointed out that this is a huge feat given the 'Halo' singer penned a long tribute along with sharing multiple photos with Willie Nelson. 

One of the social media users commented on her Instagram post, "I was born and raised in Austin, TX and have been a lifelong Willie Nelson and Beyoncé STAN. This makes me SO happy! TEXAS love 💙."

Someone else added, "One thing about my girl, she will honor & show so much grace to the Greats! Real for sure recognizes real 🐝🐝🐝."

"It’s rare to see Beyoncé write a long message about someone," noted another fan.

Someone else gushed, "Imagine being worthy of a caption from a woman who hardly captions and doesn't even follow her husband or mother on here."

"One thing Beyonce is going to do is show love to the way makers. Willie Nelson is 91 years young and still giving us protest music with his guitar," praised someone else. 

Another social media user added, "I love everything about this 🥹."
