Bianca Censori is ‘carving out her own identity’ with new pink hairstyle, claims psychologist

PARIS, FRANCE: Bianca Censori is redefining herself and is bringing changes in her personality amid her marriage to rapper Kanye West. 

According to psychologist Dr Becky Spelman, the designer changing her hairstyle was ‘significant' which was noticed earlier on Wednesday, June 19, at a fashion event in Paris.

West and Censori attended the brand Prototypes' Spring 2025 collection.

“This was a messy pink wig which signified a desire to stand out," Spelman told The US Sun.

"The statement symbolized a fresh start in Bianca's life. Psychologically, changing hair color to something as striking as pink can reflect a need for self-expression and individuality. This often correlates with non-conformist personality traits," she added.

Spelman further explained the importance of her changed look. "For Censori, such a transformation might be a way to carve out her identity separate from her partner and his influence," she said.

"It was significant, but the colors shifted from darker hues to bright pinks. This also signaled a new direction in Bianca's public persona. Bianca is still navigating her high-profile relationship with Kanye West," the psychologist added.

As per Spelman, Bianca's look suggested "rebellion." She added that the pink wig did not match Kanye's style.

"Bianca's pink wig did not necessarily gel with her husband, who was dressed in white, " she explained, adding "The bold wig only fit his ethos of innovation and attention-grabbing aesthetics."

"Her look suggested rebellion and a willingness to defy conventional beauty norms. Pink is also often associated with playful, feminine energy. This suggested a softer side to Bianca amidst her otherwise bold fashion choices," Spelman told the outlet. 

Meanwhile, West, too, chose a complete head-to-toe white look, even covering his face with a white mask.
