GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN: Donald Trump’s speech at a Tuesday, March 2, Michigan rally was littered with numerous contentious statements. In one specific instance, he went as far as to suggest that if he isn't reelected in November, dire consequences would be inevitable for the US.

The 77-year-old MAGA strongman claimed the nation might even "cease to exist," as per HuffPost

Donald Trump says if he doesn't win the US will never have an election again

During a campaign stop at Grand Rapids, Michigan, Trump declared he thinks the "country is going to cease to exist" if President Joe Biden defeats him in the upcoming election.

The White House hopeful asserted, "It could be the last election we ever have. I actually mean that. We don’t win, I think this could be the last election we ever have. That’s where our country’s going."

Subsequently, in an X (formerly Twitter) post, Florida Rep Jared Moskowitz mocked the ex-POTUS' misleading statements, writing, "We will still have elections. We will still have sunshine. We will still have rain. We will still have flowers. We will still have dogs and cats. We will still have Doritos. We will still have…etc."

Trump once again reiterated his false claims about the rate of inflation under the Biden administration, saying, "Inflation is up, probably real numbers, 50% in the last few years, and people have been destroyed by just going to the grocery store."

He added, "They're going for the groceries, and they can't believe they're paying four or five times more than they did two or three years ago," promising that he is "going to fix the country" and its economy.

The ex-POTUS doubled down on his "bloodbath" rhetoric while discussing current immigration policies and assured that if reelected he would direct troops to protect the borders. On Tuesday, the Republican National Committee even launched a website titled "Biden Bloodbath" to slam Biden's treatment of the border, as per Forbes

One wrote, "Meaning he rarely means anything. It's all bull and fear mongering," and another said, "The world will be better off once Trump is in prison."

"Trump is vile," declared a person.

Someone else pointed out the campaign statement, "Stop Biden's border bloodbath," and remarked, "Has the expression 'bloodbath' become completely normalized into the public discourse now? We're good with that all of a sudden?"

An individual exclaimed, "From the mouth of the biggest hypocrite and LIAR in the World."

One more opined, "He's sowing the seeds of halting voting if he wins. Mark my words, that's his plan."
