Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law takes a dig at his GF Jordon Hudson after CBS interview debacle

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bill Belichick, 73, and 24-year-old Jordon Hudson are back in the spotlight after a tense moment during a recent CBS interview went viral, with Jordon awkwardly interrupting when Bill was asked how they met.
The drama didn’t end there: Bill's daughter-in-law, Jennifer Schmitt, publicly slammed Jordon for the interruption, while former New England Patriots stars Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski weighed in on the matter on their 'Dudes on Dudes' podcast, hinting that Jordon may be doubling as the football coach's publicist.

Bill Belichick's daughter-in-law shades Jordon Hudson in reply to Nikki Glaser's comment
Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law stirred online drama on Wednesday, April 30, by commenting on a viral clip from the 'Dudes on Dudes' podcast, which followed the now-infamous 'CBS Sunday Morning' interview.
The clip, shared to Instagram, first caught attention when comedian Nikki Glaser backed former NFL stars Rob and Julian's claim that Jordon was simply doing her job. "100% this. She’s acting as his publicist. Publicists do this during interviews. People are out for blood," Nikki commented.
But Jennifer, who is married to the veteran football coach's son Stephen “Steve” Belichick, wasn’t having it. “Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview,” she fired back, replying to Nikki.
Meanwhile, on the podcast, Rob and Julian defended Jordon, calling the backlash over her interruption “unfair.”
Julian explained, “She was jumping into that conversation during the interview just like any PR person would jump in when there’s an unnecessary question that probably [they] didn’t go over in the pre-production meeting.”
He added, “When you look at this situation and you say, ‘Oh, this is his girlfriend jumping in,’ I think that’s unfair. I think she’s actually working with Coach Belichick in the professional world, and she probably went and said, ‘Hey, no. We’re not doing that.'”
What happened during Bill Belichick's 'CBS Sunday Morning' interview?
Bill Belichick and his much younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, sparked widespread buzz after his 'CBS Sunday Morning' aired on April 27.
The interview, intended to promote Bill's new book, 'The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football', took an awkward turn when the topic of their relationship came up.

As CBS host Tony Dokoupil asked how the couple met, Jordon, off-camera but clearly within earshot, cut in with a firm, “We’re not talking about this.” When the interviewer turned toward her, she doubled down with a terse “No,” leaving viewers and producers alike visibly surprised.
Tony later clarified in a voiceover that both Bill and Jordon seemed uncomfortable discussing their relationship, adding that the 24-year-old was a “constant presence” throughout the shoot.
Online reactions were swift and largely critical of Hudson’s unexpected interruption, but behind the scenes, sources revealed the situation was even more tense.

According to TMZ, Jordon didn’t just interject during the personal question; she also interrupted during football-related segments and eventually stormed out, causing a 30-minute delay in filming.
Sources also said that CBS staff were taken aback when Bill arrived without any representatives from his publishing team, the University of North Carolina, or even a PR rep, just Jordon.
Her behavior reportedly left Tony unsettled, prompting him to wrap up the interview earlier than planned. A follow-up segment that had been scheduled was ultimately canceled.
