LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, will be seen competing against other beauties in the Miss Maine USA pageant in May. However, there’s a catch.

The 24-year-old also has to face trans model Isabelle St Cyr amid the state's battle with President Donald Trump over the trans issue, as reported by the Daily Mail.

"Happy International Pageant Day👑✨ I couldn’t think of a better day to share with the world that I will be competing for Miss Maine USA 2025; representing my hometown, Hancock," Hudson mentioned in an Instagram post.

Isabelle St Cyr believes she has everything it takes to be Miss Maine USA

The Daily Mail reported that Isabelle St Cyr will be the first transgender woman to participate in the pageant's history. She had earlier won the Miss Monson USA pageant in the Maine town of Monson.

Mentioning her struggles on Facebook on March 25, she wrote, "When I started cheerleading I had all the odds stacked against me. So much push back, so many people telling me it wasn’t a space for me."

"But I fought for what I loved and I ended up being a very successful cheerleader, winning state and national titles and inspiring people to join even if they hadn’t been doing it their whole life," she noted.

St Cyr further shared, "I sense a similar trajectory in my ongoing journey with pageants. I believe I have everything it takes to be Miss Maine USA and I know that no amount of experience can match a true passion and drive to accomplish something," before adding, "We are coming right up on the pageant and I believe all the work I have put in this last year will pay off."

Donald Trump sues Maine for refusing to ban transgender athletes

Despite Donald Trump's immense pressure to ban trans athletes from sporting events related to women and girls, Maine Governor Janet Mills and education officials are working hard for their inclusion.

The POTUS' administration sued the state this week, as Attorney General Pam Bondi explained, "President Trump, before he was elected, this has been a huge issue for him. Pretty simple: girls play in girls' sports, boys play in boys' sports. Men play in men's sports, women play in women's sports."

Mills, however, said, "This matter has never been about school sports or the protection of women and girls, as has been claimed, it is about states' rights and defending the rule of law against a federal government bent on imposing its will, instead of upholding the law."

Maine Attorney General Aaron Frey noted, "While the President issued an executive order that reflects his own interpretation of the law, anyone with the most basic understanding of American civics understands the president does not create law nor interpret law."
