Billy Ray Cyrus looking to mend relationship with estranged daughter Miley after separation from Firerose

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Billy Ray Cyrus wants to reconcile with his estranged daughter Miley Cyrus after filing for divorce from his 35-year-old wife Firerose. 

When the 62-year-old country singer married the Australian songstress, his pop-star daughter was not supportive of their union, causing friction between the father-and-daughter duo.

With the ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ singer’s May-December romance ending, he's eager to repair his relationship with his daughter.

The ‘Words by Heart’ singer and his daughter were previously close and even starred in the breakout series ‘Hannah Montana’ together. But Billy Ray’s relationship with Firerose soured his relationship with his 31-year-old daughter. 

However, he now wants to make amends. A source close to the family revealed to RadarOnline that the ‘Some Gave All’ singer is prepared to endure his daughter’s smug “I told you so” if it means they can salvage their relationship.

The insider shared, "Miley was not a fan of Firerose from the get-go when Billy started dating her four years ago.”

"She told her dad Firerose was an opportunist who was taking him for a ride, and Billy got so angry he and Miley stopped talking to each other,” continued the source before adding, "But now he wants Firerose out of his life and Miley back in, and he's even willing to put up with all her 'I told-you-so's!'"

And it seems he has already begun the process of reconciling with his daughter.

Recently, he extended an olive branch by calling the ‘Flowers’ singer "a survivor and a true artist."

A source close to Miley again revealed that the pop star is also not averse to patching things with her father. 

The insider dished, "Miley fully believes their estrangement is on her father, not her," before adding, "But with Firerose out of the picture, she's willing to at least try to repair the damage and once again have a loving relationship with him."

Billy Ray Cyrus is leaning on his children after divorce

Following his contentious divorce from the Australian singer Firerose (born Johanna Rosie Hodges), Billy Ray is turning to his children for support. The country singer has not only expressed heartfelt sentiments for Miley but also for his 24-year-old daughter, Noah Cyrus.

Recently, he took to his Instagram to post a picture with Noah, saying that he has been learning to "stand still" amid all the humdrum from his dear daughter. 

He wrote, "I’m so proud of this little girl. Noah has grown into an incredible young Lady. Sometimes you gotta take your daughter’s advice and just 'Stand Still.'"
