NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Billy Ray Cyrus may be head over heels for his new flame, Elizabeth Hurley, but not everyone in his circle is convinced her intentions are genuine.

While the country star is convinced he’s finally found “the one,” people close to him worry that Hurley may be leveraging his celebrity status to get closer to other A-listers, according to a RadarOnline report.

Billy Ray Cyrus' pals fear he's fallen for Elizabeth Hurley harder than she has for him — and worry she’s using his fame to cozy up to Hollywood’s elite. 

"For Billy Ray, this is the ultimate fairy tale, and he’s telling everyone how he’s hit the jackpot. He sees Liz as wife material already. He's totally captivated by her and planning out his future, long-term as well as immediate summer plans," a source shared.

Though the 'Achy Breaky Heart' hitmaker is convinced he’s found his future wife, insiders claim Hurley doesn’t quite feel the same way.

The insider further claimed that she’s still “cozying up to other guys” — including former flame Denis Leary and her 'Bedazzled' co-star Brendan Fraser.

While in New York, Hurley posted a selfie with Leary, calling him one of her “favorite people in the world.” In another shot with Fraser, she gushed over the actor, calling him “heavenly” — something insiders viewed as a “big red flag.”

"She's still the same flighty person she’s always been, and people think he's batting way out of his league," the tipster added.

The source also claimed Cyrus is struggling to keep up with Hurley’s fast-paced lifestyle, and her interactions with other men haven’t gone unnoticed. They concluded by saying, “She likes to flirt, and she’s been doing exactly that.”

Although Hurley insists Cyrus makes her “very happy,” insiders aren’t buying the fairy-tale romance.

One source warned, “It seems like Billy Ray’s making a big mistake because she’s not the type of person to be tamed and stay long-term. And he's delusional if he thinks she is.”

After years of tension following Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus' divorce, their daughter Miley Cyrus has finally broken her silence on her father's headline-making romance with Elizabeth Hurley.

Just months after the new couple went public, the 32-year-old 'Wrecking Ball' singer gave the surprising relationship her seal of approval.

The 'Disney' alum opened up about her father's new relationship and her mother Tish’s marriage to actor Dominic Purcell during an interview with The New York Times.

She shared, "Now that my mom is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too — I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing. I'm being an adult about it."

Miley added, "At first it's hard, because the little kid in you reacts before the adult in you can go, 'Yes, that's your dad, but that's just another person that deserves to be in his bliss and to be happy.' My child self has caught up."

Cyrus and Hurley, who first crossed paths while filming 'Christmas in Paradise' in 2022, made their relationship Instagram-official in April.
