BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA: Billy Ray Cyrus paid a heartfelt tribute to firefighter Corey Comperatore, the victim of shooting at Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania.

The ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ crooner performed at the funeral and did a rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ and his 1992 song ‘Some Gave All.’

Where did Corey Comperatore's funeral take place?

The event was organized at Cabot Church in Cabot, Pennsylvania, of which he was a longtime member, according to New York Times.

"Corey Comperatore is a Army reservist veteran and former firefighter chief. [Cyrus] BRC has always been passionate about honoring troops and first responders," a source said of his performance, adding "Today he was honored to join the family and perform during the service."

According to the outlet, a procession of around 500 fire trucks, some even as far as Florida and Texas was set to drive from the church to the Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company not too far from Comperatore’s hometown of Sarver where he offered his services. 

An electronic billboard above a road in Freeport was also reportedly set up to showcase a photo of the late firefighter, born June 6, 1974, with the phrase “a real hero.”

Donald Trump, 78, paid his tribute to Comperatore at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Thursday, July 18, The former president said, "Tragically the shooter claimed the life of one of our fellow Americans, Corey Comperatore, unbelievable person, everybody tells me.” 

He also went on to kiss the firefighter’s helmet that was on display on the stage and asked the audience to offer a moment of silence.

Trump's campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, turned chaotic after a gunman fired multiple shots at the former president.

The Secret Service agents immediately surrounded Trump who crouched to the ground after covering his ears as the shots rang.

The shooter, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was promptly taken down by Secret Service snipers. The FBI is currently investigating the horrific incident.

Trump, who sustained an injury to his right ear, is reportedly "fine" and plans to attend the Republican National Convention
