LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Braison Cyrus broke his silence following his brother Trace Cryrus' emotional open letter to their father, Billy Ray Cyrus, which he shared on Wednesday, January 22, on Instagram.

The letter, in which Trace, whom Billy Ray adopted in 1993 after marrying his then-wife Tish Cyrus, expressed deep concern for the country star's well-being, had drawn public attention and created a stir within the family.

In a statement shared with People, Braison Cyrus distanced himself from the tension and drama portrayed in his older brother Trace Cyrus' letter. While his brother’s message called for Billy Ray Cyrus to seek help, Braison made it clear that he did not share the same level of concern.

"I don't have any bad feelings toward anyone in my family," Braison said. He expressed his desire to avoid fueling the family conflict and instead focused on the positive relationships he had with his father and siblings.

Trace’s open letter was filled with heartfelt concern for their father, who seems to have been estranged from his children.

The 35-year-old wrote, "It seems this world has beaten you down and it’s become obvious to everyone but you. You may be upset with me for posting this but I really could care less at this point."

He went on to express his worry about Billy Ray’s health, adding, "We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew & hoping for the day he returns. You’re not healthy Dad & everyone is noticing it."

The 35-year-old also mentioned his sisters, Brandi Cyrus, 37, whom Billy Ray adopted in 1993 alongside Trace, Miley Cyrus, 32, and Noah Cyrus, 25, in the letter. Billy Ray also shares a son, Christopher Cody Cyrus, 32, with his former girlfriend Kristin Luckey, and another son, Braison, 30, with his ex-wife, Tish, whom he divorced in 2022.

"Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away," Trace added in the letter.

He also revealed his own personal journey, having been clean from alcohol for over a year. "I’m over a year and half clean from alcohol. Guess what? I feel amazing," Trace shared, offering his support to Billy Ray in hopes that he would be open to help.

He wrote, "I don’t know what you’re struggling with exactly but I think I have a pretty good idea & I’d love to help you if you would open up and receive the help. You know how to reach me. Till that day comes I will continue to pray for you."
