WASHINGTON, DC: Anti-Israel agitators flood DC streets targeting White House Correspondents' Dinner aiming at Biden administration and members of the media attending the Dinner.

According to the New York Post, Code Pink, a left-wing activist group, organized a protest through Kalorama Park to the Washington Hilton, where the White House Correspondents' Dinner was being held on Saturday night.

Protestors slam Biden government at White House Correspondent’s dinner

Hundreds of demonstrators descended on the Washington D.C. Hilton Hotel on Saturday night where Biden took the stage and spoke as part of the annual charity dinner with White House reporters.

"The White House Correspondents' Dinner, traditionally a symbol of journalistic integrity and freedom, has now become a platform that celebrates and endorses the administration's actions," Code Pink argues on its website.

It added, "The United States media perpetuates anti-Palestinian narratives and ignores Israeli war crimes. The Correspondents' Dinner is nothing more than a celebration and endorsement of the administration's actions. That is not journalism. That is complicity."

Various footage were depicting throngs of protesters pounding drums and shouting "Shame on you!" at the elegantly attired attendees making their way to the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Many of the demonstrators were seen wearing keffiyehs, waving Palestinian flags, or holding signs mourning the loss of life in Gaza.

It was unknown how much the protest affected President Biden, who was expected to leave the White House at around 7 p.m. The protests coincide with an increase in anti-Israel rallies around the nation, including encampment protests at numerous campuses. After more than 100 students joined in tent protests at Columbia University in New York City, the protests gained momentum and expanded from Massachusetts to Texas and California.

There have been violent protests at Harvard University, the University of Southern California, and the University of Texas at Austin, which have led to altercations with law enforcement and many arrests. On Saturday, nearly 70 demonstrators at Arizona State University were arrested. Police say most of the protesters were not affiliated with the university.

A user wrote, "The demonstrations are a sham, orchestrated by the Deep State who want to control the USA without following the laws of Democracy."

A user said, "It's hilarious how quickly they bite the hands that feed them." The next user wrote, "Quit giving them press, start arresting if disturbing the peace or becoming violent."
