LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blake Lively has once again come under fire and been accused of doing "blackface" following her admission in a resurfaced clip that she would "stalk guys" while wearing a Scary Spice wig and "put bronzer" all over herself.

While promoting the 2006 movie 'Accepted' with actor Justin Long, 46, Lively confessed in the unearthed interview, uploaded to TikTok, to deceiving her teenage crush using makeup and a wig, similar to 'Scary Spice' Melanie Brown's hair, to appear Black, per Daily Mail.

The 37-year-old 'Gossip Girl' alum—who is currently involved in a dramatic lawsuit against 'It Ends with Us' co-star Justin Baldoni—came under fire when a video of her making fun of the use of cosmetics and a wig to make herself appear, Black, resurfaced online.

Lively and Long appeared speaking with MTV about their 2006 movie 'Accepted' in the viral TikTok clip. The actress talked candidly about a peculiar teenage incident where she confessed to fooling her crush.

The 'Gossip Girl' actress started the narrative after telling the reporter she was a "total geek." Lively said, "My best friend and I when we were in 10th grade had like crazy crushes, we'd drive around like stalking these guys."

She shared: "We decided one night to go to the arcade where they were and I put bronzer all over myself and a Scary Spice 'fro so I think they'd think I was a Black girl, so I could stalk them and my friend dressed up as this goth girl and we literally sat outside their houses."

"So that makes you sweet and charming, you're still hot," Long said in response but her co-stars didn't react as much as he did.

Since the premiere of 'It Ends with Us' in August 2024, Lively has been at the center of a continuous drama that originated with rumors of animosity behind the scenes.

Lively subsequently kicked things off by accusing her co-star Baldoni of sexual harassment and fostering a "hostile work environment."

Blackface has been a historical tradition for approximately 200 years. Many individuals find it extremely insulting, and it is perceived as racist.

It usually describes the practice of someone (mostly White) painting their face darker to make themselves look more like a Black person. However, it's not as simple as changing the color of the skin.

According to BBC, Blackface was an act that fostered unfavorable stereotypes throughout the US and Europe by making fun of Black people for White people's amusement.

Social media users voiced their reservations after Blake Lively's comment in the resurfaced clip caused a huge uproar. One wrote, "Did she say the way she is a geek is by cosplaying 'as a Black girl'."

Another user exclaimed, "I BEG your PARDON?"
