Ryan Reynolds shared that he and his wife try to give their kids — James, Inez, Betty, and Olin — a regular upbringing out of the spotlight while maintaining their high-profile careers, per the outlet.

Reynolds said during the interview, "We try to give them as normal a life as possible. I try not to impose upon them the difference in their childhood to my childhood or my wife’s childhood."

The actor continued, "We both grew up very working class, and I remember when they were very young, I used to say or think, like, 'Oh God, I would never have had a gift like this when I was a kid', or, 'I never would’ve had this luxury of getting takeout', or whatever."

Internet trolls Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively

Several internet users slammed Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively as the actor said in a recent interview that his wife comes from a "working class" background.

A user said, "Incredibly wealthy actors love to declare themselves working class. They think it will make people find them less annoying. It doesn't. They're still divorced from reality and full of it."

Another wrote, "I get he was trying to say they grew up middle class not uber wealthy, but “working class” doesn’t describe their families."

A person also stated, "Famous people say this stuff so they'll be seen as relatable to the every day people who actually are working class. But it's not working, sorry, Ryan. lol," whereas one mentioned, "Maybe working class now means non-millionaires."

A user also wrote, "Clearly neither of her parents were famous, and perhaps never earned that much, so were maybe more upper middle class than Hollywood rich. Definitely not working class."

One commented, "That is because he is out of touch with reality. To them millions seems like the middle class. To us its clearly not. All perspective and they have only got one from Hollywood Hills."
