Blake Lively responds to fan's request for more photos with Ryan Reynolds to quash divorce rumors

The 36-year-old ‘Gossip Girl’ alum recently replied to a fan who asked Lively to post more photos with her husband Ryan Reynolds as apparently “there were rumors” of divorce going around. 

On July 22, the ‘It Ends With Us’ actress - who recently swooned over her husband's "thirst-trap" picture - posted an adorable photo of her kissing the ‘Deadpool’ actor when he was still in his superhero costume. 

In that post, a fan mentioned the divorce rumors about Hollywood’s favorite couple. Lively expertly shut down the speculation with a succinct three-word reply, per Us Weekly.

On Monday, July 22, a social media user left a comment on Black Lively’s post, writing,  “You and Ryan need to post more of each other, there were rumors going around that you two got divorced and I didn’t believe it because you two are literally the perfect couple.”

‘The Age of Adaline’ actress swiftly replied debunking the rumors, “Haha they wish.”

In the second slide of the post, Lively uploaded a clip of herself directly addressing the camera regarding Y2K references appearing on the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.'

The ‘Green Lantern’ actress quipped, “Tell me Deadpool’s married to a millennial without telling me…” and highlighted Y2K references like NSYNC, Avril Lavigne’s ‘I’m With You,’ Celine Dion, and more.

She composed a long caption to accompany her post where she wrote, "Brb I’m buying milky pens to write your name on my hand @vancityreynolds."

The 'A Simple Favor' actress added, "My y2k girlies, I should be competitive bc @itendswithusmovie is coming out in 3 weeks BUT when your middle school obsessions, your feelings post baby, or about Nice men who use feminism as a tool, your love of the Wizard of Oz, Succession, Sandy & Danny, driving with Avril blasting, the way the choreography of a certain boy*band song got me, of Baz Luhrmann fireworks to punctuate a moment, even down to the fact that our hair color is determined by seasons and the French method by which it’s painted are all so seen…"

"MY WORD… it’s hard not to encourage my ladies to spot all the ways we’ve influenced @deadpoolmovie I’ve never been more proud. And I’ve given birth 4 times. 🤣❤️💛," continued Lively in her post.

The deeply devoted couple has been together since 2011. After dating for about a year, they got married in September 2012.

Since then, the couple has welcomed four children: daughters James, 9; Inez, 7; Betty, 4; and a fourth child born in February 2023, whose name and sex have not yet been revealed.

Fans quickly chimed in, with many stating that they would lose faith in love if Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds ever parted ways. Conversely, others mentioned that they had never heard any such rumors.

One of the social media users commented under the fan's comment, "Never heard that rumor. Sounds like a stretch for anyone to ever believe in the first place."

"Never if you guys ever divorce, I'm not believing in love anymore," said someone else. 

Another fan said, "Never seen or heard that rumour. Totes ridiculous!" [sic]

"If they divorced then love doesn’t exist I love their relationship," said someone passionately.
