What did Bart Johnson say abou Blake Lively?
However, when a fan commented questioning Blake Lively for “promoting happiness in a domestic violence setting without any regard for any victims,” he defended her.
“Ellen I’m really sorry you feel that way. I’m sure you have a huge heart and want the best. I can promise you the truth has not come out yet. Blake worked harder on this film than anything I’ve seen her do my entire life,” Johnson responded.
He added, “Because it meant so much to her. The message is in the book. And in the movie. Not in short clips/interviews. She is the reason the message / this movie/ is getting out.”
Johnson, married to Blake’s sister Robyn Lively, also admitted that we all have shortcomings.
"Were mistakes made? Yes. I make mistakes in life,” he wrote, adding “But they aren’t under a microscope. Anyway, I respect your views. I got nothing but love for you. ❤️.”
The user thanked Johnson for his quick response and “lovely comment,” according to Us Weekly.
In return, Johnson wrote, “Thanks for that kind response Ellen to that Ellen. Means a lot. ❤️❤️ The truth hasn’t come out yet. It’s going to.”
The movie ‘It Ends With Us’ is based on Colleen Hoover’s namesake which revolves around Lily Bloom (Blake) and her abusive relationship with Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni.)
There’s been a reported feud between the leads as Baldoni was not seen in any of the press conferences while promoting the flick.
Insider claims Blake Lively was 'effortlessly rude' during shoots
According to Daily Mail, a source told that "everyone was a little bit afraid of Blake" at the sets. Baldoni, meanwhile, faced criticism as a "woke and performative feminist."
The insider also claimed that Lively "wasn't mean - she was just so effortlessly rude." Although there "wasn't outward feuding or fighting,"and "so extraordinarily opinionated" and "strong feelings about things" created a lot of stress and tension during filming.
The source further said, "I got this impression from Justin that he was just really, really stressed and fatigued about this constant inability to control the project he was making… so much so that when you’d ask him questions, he'd be like, 'Well just ask Blake'… because when Blake got there she would have a lot of really strong thoughts and feelings."
