Body language expert reveals 'third person' in Harry and Meghan Markle's marriage after Disneyland trip

MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: After Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared a cheerful glimpse into their Disneyland getaway, a body language expert has weighed in, suggesting the outing was more than just family fun.
Body language expert Judi James observed that while the couple appeared united and affectionate, their actions hinted at a carefully crafted PR move aimed at rebranding themselves as a down-to-earth, playful family rather than high-profile royals.
The insight comes after Meghan posted a heartwarming Instagram montage, capturing sweet moments of the Sussexes meeting Disney characters and enjoying time with their children, Archie and Lilibet.

Body language expert says Meghan and Harry show intentional unity as parents
Body language expert Judi James observed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry appeared intentionally united in their roles as parents during their Disneyland visit, often showing subtle gestures of affection, such as gently placing their hands on the backs of Archie and Lilibet, to emphasize closeness and care.

However, James also pointed out the constant presence of a camera, which she described as almost acting like a “third person” in their relationship, closely documenting their every interaction.
Reflecting on a particular image taken from behind during a log flume ride, she suggested this rear-view angle was no accident, instead, it appeared to be a carefully crafted visual meant to portray the couple as engaged, playful parents. She explained, "Their body language looks synchronised here suggesting this PR aspect is a mutual objective."
She added, "But there are also moments where Harry and Meghan become children themselves, appearing on one ride screaming, mouth open in excitement."

James went on to say that there were instances where Harry and Meghan seemed to let their guard down. She added, "These views and glimpses seem to align in intention with the twerking videos as a Harry and Meghan re-brand, trying to show them as a more 'normal' couple and fun-based family behind the 'celebrity' and 'regal' facades."
In another touching moment captured during the trip, both Archie and Lilibet had the chance to meet Disney’s Elsa from 'Frozen'. Meghan was seen gently guiding her children by the hand toward the character.
According to James, Meghan subtly lowered her head while making the introduction — a gesture the expert described as a “personal status-lowering technique." She concluded, "She drops her head as though in the presence of a real princess to, again, help magnify the magic of the experience."
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry try to bring a sense of normalcy in children's life

In an interview with People magazine back in March, Meghan Markle spoke about the importance of maintaining a sense of everyday normalcy in her family’s life.
She shared that, despite the unique circumstances surrounding their public profile, she and Prince Harry strive to create a grounded, relatable environment for their children.
"Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation is," Meghan said.
"We go to a lot of dinners, and not just in people's homes or private rooms; we just go into the restaurant. I really love that we can just have fun."
Meghan has kept a full schedule in recent months. Her Netflix series 'With Love, Meghan' debuted in March and has already been renewed for a second season, continuing her creative ventures and public presence.
Later this month, she’s expected to attend the Night of Wonder gala at the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County on Saturday, June 14. It’s still unclear whether Prince Harry will join her at the event, which coincides with the UK’s annual Trooping the Colour celebration, a notable royal occasion marking the monarch’s official birthday.
