Lewis Hamilton’s authentic touch for Brad Pitt's 'F1' film
The film 'F1', set for a cinematic release in June 2025, has generated buzz among F1 fans for its authenticity, bolstered by Lewis Hamilton's involvement as a producer.
The seven-time world champion’s insights ensured a realistic portrayal of the sport, even if his suggestions occasionally inflated the production budget, according to Mirror.
Director Jerry Bruckheimer acknowledged Hamilton's vital role in the film's production.
"Everything that he has brought to this movie, I cannot even express our thanks to him," Bruckheimer said of Hamilton.
"The authenticity that he brings, we just cannot imagine what goes into what a driver does and what the sport brings to an audience," he added.
Brad Pitt's on-set camaraderie and an unexpected offer
During the interview, Brad Pitt jokingly offered Ted Kravitz a cameo role in the film, asking, "You want in? A little cameo?"
Kravitz, amused, declined the offer, stating, "No, I'm cool doing what I am doing."
The lighthearted exchange underscored the camaraderie Pitt developed with the F1 community throughout the production, with the actor frequently spotted on tracks and in pit lanes.
