Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's children 'sick and tired' of parents' ongoing legal battle
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The protracted court battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has unquestionably taken over their children's lives.
A source close to the family claimed that the former couple's six children — Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15 — are worn out and "sick and tired" of seeing their parents fight over an ongoing legal dispute.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's kids 'sick and tired of seeing' their parents combat
The six children of 'Mr and Mrs Smith' have been profoundly affected by their parents' conflict over their French winery—possibly more so than anything else.
The insider told OK! Magazine that Pitt and Jolie's kids are "sick and tired of seeing their mother and father at each other’s throats."
The insider admitted to Jolie and Pitt's children, whose parents married in 2014 after dating for over a decade, that "it's dominated their lives for the better part of a decade."
After dating for 12 years and being married in 2014, the 'Tomb Raider' actress filed for divorce in 2016, claiming her husband had an "anger problem" and also struggled with drinking and marijuana usage.
The focus of the former couple's most recent legal disputes has been the French winery Chateau Miraval, which yields an acclaimed sparkling rose.
In 2021, the 'Maleficent' actress sold her share of the property to Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler, without consulting her 60-year-old former husband.
The two are currently embroiled in court fights; Jolie claimed Pitt attempted to get her to sign an NDA, causing her to sell her interests in their joint Chateau Miraval.
The children of the couple are often spotted with their mother, but they appear to be estranged from their father and haven't been seen with him in a while. Moreover, Zahara, Shiloh, and Vivienne have all dropped the "Pitt" from their last names.
However, Jolie's former bodyguard Tony Webb reportedly asserted that this was only the case because the 48-year-old 'Salt' star "encouraged" her children to "avoid spending time with" their father "during custody visits."
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's daughter Shiloh previously 'begged' her parents to patch up
In an exclusive interview with Life & Style, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, who turns 18 in May, stated that she merely wanted her parents, Pitt and Jolie, to end their acrimonious and never-ending divorce battle.
The soon-to-be adult young woman reportedly updated her birthday wish list in response to her mother's recent accusation that Pitt has a long history of physical abuse.
An insider said, "Shiloh used to be pretty quiet about it, but now she’s taking a stand and telling both of them they need to get it together and grow up."
Shiloh, according to sources, has become worn down by the constant fights and merely wants her parents to move on from their issues.
The source added, "Shiloh’s sick and tired of their arguing and is demanding they figure out a way to get along, or at least be civil to each other. She is begging them to do it for her sake!"
"Shiloh’s old enough to know they’re feuding over the place in France and knows that they speak only through lawyers, and she’s had enough. All she wants is for them to get along," the insider continued.
They said, "She has spent most of her life seeing them argue and she can’t take it anymore. She’s begging them to think of her and her siblings and finally bury the hatchet!"
