VENICE, ITALY: Brad Pitt, 60, and Ines de Ramon, 34, made a splash as they went red-carpet official at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on Sunday, September 1, but their low-key romance faced some behind-the-scenes challenges according to body language expert Traci Brown.

The couple, who sparked romance rumors in 2022, has kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight. "They're a great match and have a good thing going. They have a lot in common and Brad likes how chill and low-key Ines is. They're excited about where things are headed," revealed a source to ET in January 2023.

Body language expert feels Ines de Ramon felt uneasy during red carpet debut at Venice Film Festival

At the 'Wolfs' premiere, despite Brad Pitt’s ease with the media, Ines de Ramon appeared a bit overwhelmed by the spotlight. Body language expert Traci Brown observed that Ramon’s sighs and fleeting smiles during the event were not signs of discomfort but rather a reaction to the whirlwind of the evening.

"A sigh can show relief. And if you look at the sequence of events — getting out of the car on the opposite side where you were seated and trying to not get your dress all twisted up, then being bombarded with photographers, she's finally settled by her man's side when we see that sigh so it's perfectly understandable," explained Brown to Nicki Swift.

While Ramon, previously married to 'The Vampire Diaries' actor Paul Wesley, is no stranger to red carpets, her discomfort was noticeable compared to Pitt's confidence.

"A smile that goes away quickly just means it's not true happiness," mentioned the body language expert, adding, "It's clear she's not as comfortable with the attention as he is. The smile shows and fades several times. She's doing her best."

Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon's subtle PDA sparks speculation about their dynamics

Away from the cameras, however, the couple reportedly enjoyed a more relaxed atmosphere. Sources revealed that the 'Bullet Train' actor and Ines de Ramon shared a cheerful evening with George Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, with everyone in high spirits.

"[Pitt] seemed very happy. They were very affectionate and cheerful. It was very sweet," shared an insider with Page Six. "All of them were in great spirits, and cheerful. There were lots of laughs."

Their debut at the festival showcased their romance with a touch of discretion. While Pitt and Ramon’s PDA was limited to hand-holding, the contrast between their public and private moments was evident.

While the Clooneys shared a kiss after the film screening, Pitt and Ramon kept their interactions low-key, with the 'Troy' actor momentarily distracted by the crowd and his friend, leading to speculation about their dynamics.

However, Brown cautions against overinterpreting their public display. She mentioned, "This is a fluid situation. He doesn't turn his back on her, he walks towards the camera. Throughout the whole scene, he's leading, she's following. Let's not read anything that isn't there."
