Ines de Ramon requests 'restoration of the former name' as she finalizes divorce from Paul Wesley

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ines de Ramon and Paul Wesley have officially finalized their divorce, two years after their split, according to ET.

On February 23, the estranged couple signed off on their divorce papers. The divorce was finalized on Wednesday, March 6, in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Despite the dissolution of the marriage, the divorce appears to be amicable, as the jewelry designer did not contest Wesley's divorce filing.

In terms of the division of property, Ramon and Wesley "have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights," and relinquished any claims to spousal support, according to court documents.

However, Ramon has requested "the restoration of the former name as set forth in the proposed Judgment," awaiting the judge's final approval to formalize the divorce.

Why did Ines de Ramon and Paul Wesley split?

In February 2023, Wesley filed for divorce from Ramon five months after his representative confirmed the couple's separation.

"The decision to separate is mutual and occurred five months ago," the representative said at the time.

The 'Vampire Diaries' star cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the decision behind the separation, as per the divorce filing.

The date of separation of the estranged couple who married on August 25, 2018, had been listed as "TBD."

Wesley previously tied the knot with his 'Vampires Diaries' co-star, Torrey Devitto. The pair ended their marriage in 2013.

Ines de Ramon and Brad Pitt sparks dating rumors

In November 2023, Ramon and Brad Pitt sparked romance rumors after they were spotted with Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber at a Bono concert in Los Angeles, along with Sean Penn and Vivi Nevo who were seen backstage with the group.

An insider shared with ET at the time that the 'Fight Club' actor and Ramon's relationship was not romantic and that they were just friends.

However, a source told the outlet during the holidays that the duo "recently started dating."

"Brad is enjoying spending time with Ines and getting to know her better. It is still new, but they are seeing where things go and like each other," said the source.

"They are having a good time together. Brad and Ines have been living together," further divulged the source. "She still has her own place, but they spend most of their time at his and Ines has most of her belongings there."

"Brad really likes Ines and is taking their relationship seriously. He is not rushing next steps, but they’re in a great spot and loving their time together. Ines is thrilled and super into Brad," the source added.
