Brad Pitt 'pressured' to get things sorted out with 'exhausted' Angelina Jolie, reveals indsider
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Insiders have revealed the motivation behind Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's long-running divorce settlement after eight years.
The 'Maleficent' actress filed for divorce in 2016. The Hollywood pair were married for two years despite dating for ten years.
Brad Pitt is looking to get married next year
According to insiders “relieved” Brad Pitt, 61 is looking forward to getting married to his new flame, Ines de Ramon, 32, next year following the divorce settlement.
"They are looking to get married in the next year," an insider told Daily Mail. Pitt's team also sees that the actor believes Angelina has been “dragging her feet.”
So to settle the divorce is to "keep his children on side for his new marriage to go ahead," according to the source.
Ines de Ramon 'pressured' Brad Pitt to sort things with Angelina Jolie soon
Ines de Ramon, the insider also claimed, is apparently "keen to have children too and pressured him to get it all sorted out as soon as possible," the source added.
Pitt and Ines started dating around November 2022 and later moved in to live together.
“Brad will be relieved that he can finally move on and marry again," one more source told the publication.
The insider asserted that even though Jolie “will argue she has been fighting for the best deal for their family,” it “ultimately clears the path for him walking down the aisle with Ines.”
Angelina Jolie is 'exhausted' but 'relieved this one part is over'
On the other hand, Angelina Jolie’s lawyer, James Simon, told People that she is “relieved this one part is over.”
He added, “Frankly, Angelina is exhausted.” Simon also said, “She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr Pitt, and since that time she has focussed on finding peace and healing for their family.”
The Hollywood stars officially signed off on their divorce paperwork on Monday in a wrangle that began in 2016.
Yet despite the divorce settlement, the warring pair is still entangled in their formal skirmish over the French winery Chateau Miraval, which they used to own together.
“Until he ends the Miraval lawsuit, Angelina will continue to stand up to him,” a source from Jolie's team said.
