While the 61-year-old actor didn’t spend the day with his children, he was spotted enjoying a cozy date night with girlfriend Ines de Ramon on Saturday, June 14, the evening before Father's Day.

The couple appeared relaxed and connected, taking time out for each other amid Pitt’s busy schedule, the DailyMail reported.
Brad Pitt remains estranged from his children despite end of bitter divorce battle with Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie share six children—Maddox,23, Pax,21, Zahara,20, Shiloh, 19, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. The former couple married in 2014 after famously falling in love while filming 'Mr & Mrs Smith'.

However, their relationship unraveled in 2016 when Jolie filed for divorce shortly after a highly publicized private plane incident, during which she accused Pitt of abusive behavior toward her and the children.
Although their divorce was finalized in December, the emotional aftermath continues. Reports suggest Pitt remains estranged from several of his children, a painful consequence of the long and contentious split.
As a result of their custody arrangement, Jolie revealed in a recent Hollywood Reporter interview that she must remain in Los Angeles until their youngest children reach adulthood.

“I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave,” Jolie said, reflecting on her family's future. “When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety. I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be … that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here. [After Los Angeles,] I’ll spend a lot of time in Cambodia. I’ll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world."
Brad Pitt stresses on importance of love despite estranged relationship with children

Despite his strained relationships with some of his children, a source revealed that Brad Pitt still maintains visitation rights with his younger children. However, the actor’s involvement has reportedly been limited due to his demanding filming schedule for the upcoming 'Formula 1' movie.
While a few of his children have gone so far as to drop “Pitt” from their last names, the insider emphasized that Brad remains emotionally available, always leaving the door open for reconciliation.
“He respects Shiloh’s decision,” the source said, referencing his daughter’s recent legal name change. “He loves her, and no matter what happens, he is always only a phone call away. He will be there for Shiloh and any of his kids whenever they need, no questions asked. But it's up to them to make the next move."
Amid the ongoing family divide, Pitt addressed the importance of love and connection during an appearance at the 'F1' premiere in Mexico City. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on June 11, the Oscar winner reflected, “No matter the mistake, you just learn from [it] and move on. It’ll lead to the next success."
He continued, “When you get to my age, you realize how important it is to surround yourself with the people you love, the people that love you back. Friends, family, and that’s it. From there, we get to go make things. It’s a pretty simple, I think, equation."
Pitt also recently spoke more candidly about his long and contentious split from Angelina Jolie in GQ’s June 2025 issue, downplaying the legal finalization of their divorce: “No, I don’t think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally.”
