LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brad Pitt has achieved a significant legal victory in his ongoing battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie concerning the sale of shares in their French winery, Chateau Miraval.

On November 8, Judge Lia Martin of the Los Angeles County Superior Court dismissed three motions filed by Jolie’s legal team that sought to throw out key claims Pitt made regarding their agreement over the property, as reported by People.

The court ruling advances Brad Pitt’s case, allowing him to pursue claims that Angelina Jolie violated both a verbal and written agreement to seek mutual consent before selling stakes in Miraval.

The former couple, through their companies Mondo Bongo and Nouvel, had allegedly agreed in 2013 to offer each other the right of first refusal on any sale of their shares. Jolie’s team has 30 days to respond to this recent decision.

This ruling is a significant development in a case that has intertwined both personal and business grievances since Pitt sued Jolie last year over her 2022 sale of her stake to Tenute del Mondo, part of the Stoli Group.

While Jolie, 49, has sought to move forward and focus on her family and career, this case now seems poised to proceed toward trial.

A source close to Pitt, 60, called the court’s ruling a “clear victory” for him, adding that the ruling “validates the strength of his claims.”

The dispute over Chateau Miraval continues to be one of many legal chapters for the former couple, whose relationship began on the set of 'Mr & Mrs Smith' and whose 2016 divorce has involved complex issues, including custody disputes over their six children.

Brad Pitt’s recent win in his legal fight with Angelina Jolie over the Chateau Miraval winery has sparked a wave of reactions on Facebook.

One user speculated, “I think he was just mad that she divorced him. There’s more to Brad Pitt than he’s showing us, and I do believe that he abused her. He’s mad because the girls are dropping his name and the boys want nothing to do with him.”

Others were equally vocal in their condemnation of Jolie, with one user writing, "The fight will go on forever for him with that vindictive person!!!!"

Many fans have found the prolonged legal battle unsettling, with one commenting, "OMG they must have both spent MILLIONS with this fight."

As the legal battle drags on, many users expressed concern for the couple's children, who have found themselves caught in the middle of their parents' ongoing disputes. “This is a terrible way to work through all of this so the children are caught in sides,” one user noted.

Another added, “Jesus, it seems like she’s been dragging Brad thru the mud forever at this point.”
