Brad Pitt won't 'consider' reuniting with Angelina Jolie for a film even for 'all the money in the world'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brad Pitt would never accept to co-star in a movie with his estranged ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, even for "all the money in the world," according to a source.
The once iconic couple of Hollywood, Pitt and Jolie first met on the set of 'Mr & Mrs Smith' in 2003 and started dating in 2005 after the 'Fight Club' actor separated from Jennifer Aniston.
After years of anticipation, they tied the knot in an intimate destination wedding in 2014. However, just two years later, the 'Salt' actress filed for divorce, claiming he was abusive toward her during their marriage.
Since then, the former couple has been locked in a bitter divorce that has been further complicated by the legal battle over their stakes in their French vineyard Chateau Miraval.
However, recently, producer Danny Rossner announced publicly that he wanted to rope in the estranged couple for his passion project based on the real-life of hotelier Emmanuel Martinez.
Sources close to the 'Babylon' actor view Rossner’s proclamation as a "publicity stunt" and say that there is "no way" Pitt would "lower himself" to work with someone who caused him immense "heartache."
Brangelina last appeared together in the 2015 film 'By The Sea', written and directed by Jolie herself. It was their only film together as a married couple.
Brad Pitt would never 'consider' working with Angelina Jolie
A source close to Brad Pitt recently shared with Daily Mail, "All the money in the world wouldn’t get Brad to appear in a movie with Angelina ever again."
They continued, "It would definitely spark public interest, but it’s not anything he would ever consider for a moment."
"They are currently bitter enemies," clarified the tipster, before adding, "So there is no way Brad would lower himself to be paid any amount of money to talk to Angie on screen."
Showing shade at Jolie, the source claimed, "She's caused him so much heartache and doesn’t even want his inner circle to talk about her."
Apart from his bitter relationship with his ex-wife, Pitt’s estranged relationship with his children has also created headlines.
The former couple share six children, Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
Meanwhile, another source clarified to the outlet that there "was never any real offer" from Rossner, describing the producer's claim as a "clever publicity stunt" and "not something either side entertained."
Danny Rosner's overarching ambition of reuniting the feuding exes
In what might be considered overarching, if not audacious, producer Danny Rossner shared his desire to reunite the feuding exes by casting him in his upcoming epic love story.
'The Ultimate Weapon' producer claimed in a recent interview that he has been raising money from his backers to offer Jolie and Pitt a huge paycheck to appear in his movie based on the story of Martinez, who was the director of the Cannes Luxury Hotel Association.
While Pitt would have played the role of Martinez, Jolie would have played his lover Emma Digard.
Rossner claimed that he has raised over $60 million from his backers to entice the stars into signing.
"Right now, I think, Brad Pitt’s in the $20 to $25 million range [per movie] and Angelina Jolie is in the $15 million range," the producer shared, before adding, "In the 50-percent range above their going rate is what we’re prepared to offer."
"There is a love scene … It’s a torrid one, too," Rossner remarked, but, also added, "It’s not salacious but there are very heavy love scenes. [Martinez] had a wife and he had a mistress," as per Page Six.
Speaking of his ambition, Rossner shared, "If we can have a cease-fire between Israel and Lebanon, [Pitt and Jolie] can put their differences aside and come together to build a bridge and make this movie."
Confident of his vision, the producer claimed, "Guaranteed success if they come on. There’s not even a second place. It’s a slam dunk with them."
