Brandi Glanville blasts doctors after spending $70K on surgery consultations for facial parasite crisis

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Reality television star Brandi Glanville claimed she has received more helpful advice from her fans on social media than from professional doctors in her struggle with facial disfigurement, the Daily Mail reported on Monday, March 31.
The 52-year-old has been receiving treatment for a mysterious ailment since 2023 that has left her face disfigured. She recently admitted to consulting with plastic surgeons five times to fix the issue and spending over $70,000.
In December 2024, Glanville had uploaded a picture of her disfigured face on X and shared that doctors believed it was caused by a parasite. Celebrity plastic surgeon Terry DuBrow offered his help to Glanville the same month, claiming that her condition was "foreign-body reaction to something she had injected."
In January, Dubrow subjected Glanville to a series of tests to diagnose her condition.

Brandi Glanville complains about her treatment
Brandi Glanville was answering questions from her fans on X on Saturday, March 29, when one of them inquired about her health. In response, the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum wrote, "I'm getting more help from social media and podcast listeners than I am doctors."

Earlier this month, Glanville had ranted about her condition on the platform, posting on March 8, "I have painful lumps - one in jaw bone area, one on side of neck, one in back of neck. I have chills and a constant oily foul-tasting drainage from face into mouth. It's acidic (and) is eating away at my teeth. Plus all of my lymph nodes in head (and) neck are swollen. Doctors at Kaiser (Permanente) say I'm fine. Help me!"

Two days before that, she claimed to be "faking it" and insisted that she was "f*****g miserable."
"My face is worse than ever. It's literally melted away," Glanville stated. "When doctors at (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center) put me on IV antibiotics (and) fungal medication, I was getting better. I looked normal, but I couldn't afford to stay on them. I was forced to see doctors outside my insurance because the doctors at Kaiser had no clue. I need my life to change. That is my real life health update."
