LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Beverly Hills, 90210' alum, Brian Austin Green has opened up about the seemingly trivial issues that ultimately led to the end of his decade-long marriage to Megan Fox.

The pair first crossed paths in 2004 while filming ‘Hope & Faith’, when Fox was just 18 and Green was 30.

After six years together, they married in a picturesque Hawaiian ceremony in 2010, but differing behaviors and unresolved conflicts led to their separation in 2020, with the process taking years to finalize.

In the episode, which aired on Spotify on October 29, the 51-year-old actor reflected on the breaking point that led to the end of his relationship with his now 38-year-old ex-wife, as per Unilad.

He elaborated, "The way you’re putting that toast in the toaster’s just driving me crazy, it’s all that stupid little stuff."

Green emphasized the importance of addressing these feelings rather than letting them simmer. He noted, “That to me is when you either have to make the choice to say, ‘Okay, we’re going to go into therapy, and we’re gonna try to find our connection and figure out what’s going on now, or these things are going to sink us.’”

He also warned that if these irritations aren't addressed early, they can escalate: “They’re going to be the death of us, because they just build up, and build up, and get worse, and worse.”

Upon hearing Green's comments, Spelling recalled how Fox once mentioned her annoyance with the sound of Green chewing during the filming of the 'Beverly Hills, 90210' reboot in 2019. She reflected, “I remember thinking at the time, ‘How bad could it be? She loves him. That really bothers her?’”

Green's revelations come after Fox shared her perspective on their relationship in a recent episode of the podcast 'Call Her Daddy.' She expressed that she “never had the full freedom to be single and experience that life,” adding, “I was young and really should not have been in a relationship of that level of commitment and that magnitude.”
