Brianna Chickenfry slammed for 'blindsiding' her friend Grace O’Malley with podcast update

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brianna Chickenfry, also known as Brianna LaPaglia, was blasted online after it was revealed that she allegedly blindsided her best friend Grace O’Malley with the podcast update.

The two women hosted their podcast ‘PlanBri Uncut’ together, however, O’Malley recently announced that she’s leaving the show due to a rift in their friendship, E! News reported. The comedian also shared that she’s saying goodbye to Barstool Sports, which produced their show.

In an Instagram Story, Grace O’Malley wrote, “I wanted you guys to hear from me first that this is my last day at Barstool. "

“I'm so grateful to everyone at the company and to [Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy] for taking a chance on me,” she shared.

“I'm just as surprised as you are there are no typos in this statement,” she added on Monday, December 16.

Grace O’Malley had accused Brianna Chickenfry of blindsiding her

Though Grace O’Malley did not go into detail about her departure, she did appear to accuse Brianna Chickenfry of blindsiding her earlier.

In a December 6 Instagram Story, she stated, “We agreed to make a joint statement, so I replied, cried, and chose not to repost or say anything until it was time.”

“On that same day, you might’ve seen Brianna post that she’s ‘working on bringing back some version of PlanBri.’ To give you guys the much needed info you deserve, I can only say that that was my first time hearing about this,” she claimed.

But Chickenfry also came up with her own justification. She said during a December 12 episode of her 'BFFs' podcast with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards that O’Malley “knew what I was going through.”

“I really needed her, so I couldn’t do the podcast anymore because we’re sitting there pretending to be friends,” the 25-year-old revealed, before asserting, “I didn’t feel seen by her. I needed to set a boundary.”

However, people online have expressed their disappointment in Brianna Chickenfry. Some TikTokers posted screenshots of messages she allegedly sent them.

According to Betches, One such message read, “Maybe Grace sucks? And was a horrible friend to me? And horrible to the rest of the team?”

“And maybe I cut her out of my life 2 1/2 months ago? And I’m not gonna say that online because I would never want some I cared about to get publicly attacked because I know how hard it is? Maybe you need to look at the bigger picture,” it added.

Another message was “There are two sides to every story. Clearly I would never speak online because I’m a good person. Look where everyone is. Look who everyone unfollowed. Use critical thinking.”

Chickenfry was also accused of doing the same thing with O’Malley, which she herself reportedly faced by her ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan.

The 25-year-old and Bryan broke up in October and the former had alleged that she was “blindsided” by the country musician, as per PEOPLE.

“Hey guys, I'm feeling really blindsided right now. Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately, when I’m ready I’ll be back and ready to talk,” she added at the time.

After Brianna Chickenfry was accused of blindsiding her friend Grace O’Malley, people took to social media to brutally troll her. A critic tweeted, “Brianna chickenfry turned down 12m from zach b**tface to win public opinion just to lose it all in 2 weeks by being a s**tty friend to grace.”

“Brianna Chickenfry for dumbest b***h of the year award,” another person wrote.

One individual remarked, “Her and zach bryan were actually probably perfect for each other.”

“Brianna chickenfry is the most insufferable person ever, imagine losing a childhood best friend because you can’t get over yourself,” an angry netizen wrote.

“Catching up with all the Briana chickenfry & Grace O’Malley drama and let me telling you something “I gave her everything” told me who was at fault for that friendship coming to an end ..” another tweet read.

“This girl is nuts! She knew she was in an abusive relationship and her friend tried to help her but BCF refused to help herself so Grace had to back off for her own good.. now BCF snaps out of it and is pissed at Grace. Soon BCF will blame this insane behavior on PTSD watch,” one person added.
