LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Barstool Sports' podcast host Brianna LaPaglia, also known as Brianna Chickenfry, opened up about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan In a new episode of the 'BFFs' podcast.

During the episode, she accused the country singer of "emotional abuse" and manipulation throughout their time together. LaPaglia told the podcast hosts, Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, about her current fears while reflecting on the hardships she faced since she began dating Bryan in 2023, TMZ reported.

LaPaglia’s breakup with Zach Bryan has taken a darker turn as she now alleged that the country singer was emotionally abusive during their relationship.

Reflecting on the past year, LaPaglia shared, “The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life,” revealing that since their relationship began in 2023, she has struggled with the mental and emotional effects of the alleged mistreatment.

She admitted, “I’m still scared right now, I’m scared to make him mad.” She explained how the constant fear has affected her mindset. "My brain's re-wired. I'm scared to make him mad."

Rumors around the couple's breakup intensified after screenshots supposedly displaying Bryan’s profile on Raya, an exclusive dating platform for celebrities, began circulating online.

Raya is a members-only dating app for high-profile individuals. Entry requires a referral and a strict verification process.

LaPaglia alleges that when she questioned Bryan about the screenshot, he simply responded that he had "reactivated" the app. This confrontation, she claims, ultimately prompted him to announce their breakup publicly.

LaPaglia further revealed she felt isolated and manipulated in the relationship, citing instances such as when Bryan reportedly disapproved of her Golden Globes dress and expressed reluctance to date someone who would wear it.

He even unfollowed her over it, though he later shared the photo of the dress himself, calling her beautiful.

LaPaglia further asserted that Bryan’s behavior created a sense of isolation. “He made me feel like I was walking on eggshells constantly,” she said.

She also stated that there was never a formal breakup conversation, instead, Bryan allegedly left abruptly, saying, “I can’t do this,” before returning to Oklahoma alone.
