LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As Pride Month continues to make headlines, 'Bridgerton' star Jessica Madsen has joined the celebration with a surprising Instagram post.

In her post, Madsen opened up about her identity and love life, celebrating the start of Pride Month by revealing that she is "in love with a woman."

Madsen, who plays Cressida Cowper in the Netflix series, expressed her love, stating she is "proud".

Previously, in June 2023, Madsen shared another Instagram post about her identity, featuring graphics about bisexuality that read: "Bisexuals are not 'confused'" and "bi af."

In the caption, she wrote: "Bi the way…. Happy Pride month," as per People.

On Saturday, June 1, Jessica Madsen, 32, posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram, featuring artwork celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and a historical photo from a march following the Stonewall Riots.

She also shared a simple selfie, posing in a colorful tie-dyed T-shirt, with rainbow rhinestones on her face and a bucket hat that read: "LOVE SUPREME."

'Bridgerton' co-stars show their support for Jessica Madsen

Several of her 'Bridgerton' co-stars showed their support in the comments. Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington, shared heart emojis, while Jonathan Bailey, who stars as Anthony Bridgerton, posted a series of heart and applause emojis: "❤️🙌❤️."
